Melee combat glitch

I have a problem with my save game where I can't use melee combat and pressing LMB will NOT throw a punch or will not let me attack using melee weapons such as a baseball bat and the knife I can still lock on to NPCs players with no weapon or a melee weapon equipped and mico will still have his fists and his body movement ready as if he were to throw a punch or something  but I cannot throw the punch also I can still target and shoot NPCs with other weapons and throw grenades/molotovs at them. I have googled this glitch and have nothing regarding my specific problem as I have found that there is a melee glitch but that is just stuff like certain types of melee attacking such as blocking not working and so on not this

I have played this save game for a while and have finished the game like 70% and don't want to start again especially since this is the SECOND glitch I have had in the past 2 months with the last one being I couldn't access the laptop of a criminal for a mission and therefore could not complete the mission or progress in the game and had to start a fresh save game but although this melee combat glitch does not affect my ability to complete the game it is still annoying as sometimes I like going up to people in missions and knifing them or literally having a boxing fight in the street with NPCs

If you guys are wondering about mods I have nothing besides the Native Trainer and I have been using it fine for years and this is the first time I encountered this issue ALSO I have the game on Steam (GTA IV: The Complete Edition)

Turn off Special God Mode and get yourself back to a normal health amount if it doesn't get reset by turning the option off.

Sorry for the late reply as I stopped playing GTA IV for a couple of weeks and when I thought about the game again I remembered this post I made and sure enough the problem was the native trainer but it only mostly fixed because as far I am aware I think I am pretty sure that I was supposed to be able to throw punches without locking on to a target but all I can is make the pushing body movement where Niko poshes or shoves another person and I can only punch if I lock on to someone ALSO I did NOT have god mode enabled but I did have more than 200hp which is the default HP in GTA IV (I had added extra hp up to like 20K according to the HP number display which can be enabled on native trainer as I just wanted to progress as quick as possible without dying to get the achievement where you complete the story missions within 30 hours)
