Journey_95
For me it's Succession, easily the best show for me since Mad Men ended and GoT went to sh*t (post S4). It has amazing acting, fanastic writing and overall its just engaging despite just being about people talking (no action, no soapy drama etc.). Brian Cox and Jeremy Strong deliver award worthy performances. Unlike a lot of shows (especially Netflix) its not PC and not preachy at all which is very refreshing. MindCorrupt
Really enjoying The Expanse, so glad Amazon picked it up again from Netflix. I'd definitely recommend the books as well. If you enjoy a bit of Sci-Fi and havent watched or read it you're missing out. Failed Again

It seems like this season suffered from Covid tho, the sets had more grandeur and splendour in the previous seasons.
seaque
I'm also gonna go with Succession. I've heard really good things about Yellowstone, and there is The Crown on the other hand. So yeah... i think we can all agree that those people who say "there are no good TV shows anymore" just don't bother finding them. DexMacLeod
Trying to answer this question ended up being harder than I thought it would be. There's a ton of shows I watch but nothing that really jumps out at me as the best. A lot of them are very different from each other and I enjoy them all for completely different reasons. "The Expanse" is the kind of good, high quality science fiction you don't really see a lot of. "9-1-1" and "This is Us" are just fun, hopeful, feel good shows. "The Walking Dead"s are pretty much the opposite, and although "Better Call Saul" can get a little pretentious/self-indulgent I think it gets better and better every season. I instinctively wanted to say "Yellowstone" is the best but that show's been boring me more and more as time goes on. It feels as if the story's just been spinning its wheels for the past couple seasons. Every time the plot feels like it's going somewhere it just ends up getting reset again. All of that's to say; "Ozark" is my pick. It's done a great job of escalating the tension and keeping the plot moving forward while never losing focus on the characters at the heart of it all. Some quick honorable mention shows that have only had one season so far and so haven't had a fair shot at disappointing me yet: The Witcher: Great first season that was even better on a re-watch. Hit Monkey: Also great, might be in the running for my favorite currently running animation.
Pavle
I avoided watching Better Call Saul for years because I thought I wouldn't like it. Turns out I enjoyed it more than Breaking Bad. So I add that to the list, I'm also enjoying the latest season of Narcos: Mexico, even though it's a bit confusing at times due to so many names being thrown around during the episodes. Still very much action packed.
Big Molio
Cobra Kai Season 4 of this magnificent Karate Kid sequel show drops on Netflix on New Year's Eve. I have loved the way it has continually blended nostalgia with the new, and kept its silly high school teen soap vibe against the karate story. The returning characters of Daniel LaRusso, Johnny Lawrence and John Kreese have been superb, and the cameos of characters like Ali, Daniel's mother, Johnny's old gang and even Kumiko and Chozen have all been great. The return of Chozen in Season 3 was both surprising and delightful in the way he was written, it is my favourite episode of all. It's no secret that Season 4 will feature the return of Ian Thomas Griffith as the dastardly Terry Silver from The Karate Kid: Part III, so that promises to be fun. Special mention in this show has to go to Wiliam Zabka and his portrayal of Johnny Lawrence, who has become the best anti-hero / hero sensei of the entire franchise. I hope the writers manage to wrap this all up before it outstays its welcome, but it has been a real treat. -l-
Hard to choose one, but one of my picks would be Sex Education. Not the best, but worth watching.
Mexicola9302
The Mandalorian The Book of Boba Fett Usually im not very much into Star Wars, but these 2 shows are pretty refreshing, there isn't much dialogue, it's just another way of story tellling, very often just showing what's happening, no endless bla bla. The Mandalorian feels a bit like watching somebody play a RPG character in a videogame doing quests. He just keeps doing his questionworthy quests, no matter what happens, it's so refreshing to see something so simple. And The Book of Boba Fett is very similar to The Mandalorian, and i really like that Ming-Na Wen is one of the main actors, she played Agent Melinda May in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I really like that actress. She sort of has something tough going in her roles. Both are excellent shows, never would have thought i would ever like a Disney+ series, these 2 are the exception i guess. I mean the rest that is on Disney+ is pretty much only garbage. Else well there was The Expanse, but that series is finished now, i didn't like the last 2 seasons, i don't know the "villain" Marco Inaros and his son Filip, sort of ruined the last 2 seasons for me. They are just bad actors IMO. I even thought about skipping all scenes containing them. I haven't watched the last few episodes yet. But im pretty sure the end will suck in a way, like most series endings suck in a way. DC's Legends of Tomorrow is still ongoing and funny to watch. Hmm maybe i give Ozark another try, last time i stopped watching it after season 1 i think, i can barely remember the story. That series is finished now too after season 4. So yeah a good time to binge watch it i guess. Doom Patrol is also nice, yeah i really enjoy watching that. Hope that show keeps going for a few more seasons.
