MrHotPocket
Something I've noticed that I think is really cool is that It seems like someone in charge of car design at R* has a real appreciation for the classic Trans Am racing series. I've been slowly working on making a garage dedicated to just these cars. Of course these are just kind of rough clones. There are probably ways to make them better such as wheel and paint options I don't know about but this is what I could do looking at pictures on Google. From front to back there's the Sunoco AMC Javelin, Parnelli Jones Boss 302 Mustang, Classic Wax Challenger (as close as I could get), and George Follmer's Boss 302 Mustang. Side note, that's Richard Petty's Superbird in the very back, but although he did race in the Trans Am series, that was not the car he used. I apologize for any inaccuracies and I would love to see if anyone else has made any other Trans Am cars as there are lots of liveries I still don't know about in the game. I also hope these pictures upload, but I haven't used this Forum before and don't 100% know how it works. Thanks Didn't seem to upload, can I link directly to these images? https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/photo/gtav/fyK4SlrHG06ioh_BRVkp8w https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/photo/gtav/m8dGGjj5EkWfBqD07voVoA Hoss Soss
SummerFreeze
If you copy and paste the links, the images should automatically get embedded. Not an American car, but the Alfa Romeo GTA (Michelli GT) is a Trans Am winning car. Standard Deluxe 59
Nice. I'd paint the wheels on the red, white and blue Javelin white or silver and leave the chrome bits as chrome rather than painted. éX-Driver
Trans Am ran two classes; the pony cars (what you have) and the compacts which was populated with things like 2L European and Japanese cars. The Michelli GT, 190Z, and Savestra all are based on cars that ran in the 2L category of Trans Am. I think the Issi Classic would fit as well (don’t know if Minis were used) Hoss Soss, MrHotPocket and SummerFreeze
