I have spent the last hour, logging in, having explosions at my feet repeatedly (even in camp). I swap to story mode, or sometimes log all the way out, and back in again, and the same thing happens. A few times, it didn't even put me in camp, which resulted in death. And I have gotten bounties and more because of it. I log into the game to play, and to enjoy it. Not this crap. But apparently I am not the only one who is going through this. But it would seem Rockstar has little to no interest in fixing this, even when several people report the people who are doing it. And to be clear, I should have said "griefers", and not modders. Mods can be awesome. Griefing, not so much. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I doubt most of the griefers are modders, since a modder is one who actually creates the mods, whereas all a griefer has to do is use the mods. But maybe that's just me being nit-picky. Just the ones who are causing you problems. You said they weren't actually modders and you should have called them griefers. But they are both. As someone who makes mods (for Bethesda games, not Rockstar), I find the misnomer of "modder" being applied to griefers/hackers a little insulting. Modders create content to enhance the gameplay experience of other gamers in positive ways. Griefers & hackers do the opposite.
