GTA IV Friendship Activities Bug

Hello here , I meet a weild bug in game.

After meeting with friends, they immediately become npc status and leave,

or if you meet them with a car, they get off and leave immediately after getting in the car,

and pressing the right mouse button can not lock them.

What caused this bug, and how to fix it?

Do you have mods installed? I’m having the same issue but I’ve got mods on

Yes, I've found lots of bugs before, but most of them can be solved.

However, I have no idea which mods may make this issue happen this time

I've recently gone through and eliminated what mods caused a cutscene to crash the game every time. It was a texture that did it for me. I had to use my backup to fresh install and add each mod 1 at a time, this way you instantly see which mod(s) are causing you issues. As for why, unless they are script mods you probably won't find out what exactly the cause is.
