maxo's vehicle loader for vc causes an issue

when I keep the "mvl" file from maxo's vehicle loader in my vc directory, the screen that appears before the menu pops up stays forever, I found a workaround by using a windowed mode mod, I prefer to have a fix for it though

 

any tips? screenshot
