I tried to put music files in the User Tracks player and it just played ads. Reinstalled, downgraded and the game doesn't work.

Let me start from the beginning of my problem.

Everything was working fine, I had CLEO V4 installed and I had everything I needed. However, the only thing that wasn't working was the User Tracks Player when I put some songs in the folder. (C:\Users\Admin\Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files\User Tracks)

I've poked around the forums and a few people have wrote how they reinstalled the game and everything worked fine for them. I decided that I was going to reinstall the game from the same WinRAR package that I've had (I'm using a non-Steam version).

 

When I installed the game from the same WinRAR package, the graphics were horrible, even when I changed the resolution to the highest possible. I decided that I was going to downgrade my GTA: San Andreas from 1.01 to 1.0.

As soon as I did that, I have had three pop-ups in a row that appeared one after one.

 

First error pop-up: "Open Limit Adjuster" "Could not detect the game version" "Contact the mod creator!"

Second error pop-up: "Mod Loader" "This game is not supported" "Game Info: UNKNOWN GAME"

Third error pop-up: "SilentPatch" "You're using a 1.01 executable which is no longer supported by SilentPatch!" "I have no idea if anyone was still using it, so if you do - shoot me an e-mail!"

 

The game opened only ONE time and afterwards, it did not open anymore.

 

Hope you have some solutions, because I spent 2 hours trying to fix this and I got a headache from it.

you know you have to scan them in the user track setting in the audio settings, right?

Of course I do. I found out what's the problem. My songs had characters that weren't on Latin (I have foreign songs) and that's why it wouldn't let me play songs. Pretty weird, but I fixed the problem.

If anyone is wondering why their songs aren't playing, it's probably because they have letters in those songs that aren't in the English alphabet.

Game extracted from a WinRAR package? Sounds like a pirated copy to me.
