Do you think I should buy an arcade? Its on sale this week

All the vids I watched were when the Arcade first came out,so they are kind of dated.

I'm a solo player and the main reason reason for the arcade was the Diamond Casino Heist. That has been usurped by Cayo. And besides,as a solo player I cannot do the finale solo.

And another selling point was you can manage all your businesses from one spot. They said it is what the Terrorbyte should have been in that respect. But I disagree. It's still half ass. What is the point of being able to sell coke from my Arcade in the lower part of the city if I still have to goto the Sanora Desert to get the sell vehicle? I can buy supplies from my Terrorbyte-and that can be wherever I happen to be (I just can't sell the product).

The Arcade machines look like they would take a long to break even as a ROI (Return On Investment).

Are there any Solo friendly missions with the Arcade?

I got to admit, playing the arcade games could be a fun way to pass time.

Any advantages to the Arcade? I'm looking for a reason to buy while they are on sale.

The Arcade is a super cool building, I don't like the Casino Heist too much but you should have played at least all approaches once, you can do the preps alone in invite only. I would definitly get one but don't expect to get rich from it. Before you buy one, I'd check out all the locations which one you like best. You can also enter other players arcades, so check the place out if it is worth to you.

The casino heist is fun to try out the different approaches a few times, it does get boring after a while, but doing all the different ways once should cover the cost of it. So yeah do it.

If you are on PC ill run them with you if you like.

Before Cayo it was my spawn location, besides buying stuff I could keep an eye on the status of guns/coke/nightclub. Now I just sell nightclub when Tony texts me that something is maxed, bunker if its double money and biker deliveries can go f*ck themselves no matter how much they pay.

The drones are fun for a while, though not cheap. The range on them is really good and when bored you can fly around the city zapping people with the Tazer or blow up a griefer and get called a cheater.

You don't actually need to buy all the games to get maximum profits, you can just fill it up with the same game and still get the $5000 a day. Takes a long time to get even though if you dont do the Casino heists but its still passive income. You get a lot of T-Shirts from the arcade games if you are into those and the recently released Camhedz is a halloween-exclusive so if you dont get it now you need to wait for a year. The game itself is not that interesting, just a copy of a different arcade game with new artwork.

To sum it up, not that profitable for solo players in the post-Cayo economy but not useless either.

About the Arcade:

Yes, an Arcade is worth getting, as long as it's in the city. I own Videogeddon in La Mesa, because it is closest to the casino, not even the most expensive, and it has the train tracks and sewers nearby to lose the cops.

Yes, the master control terminal allows you to manage all your businesses from one place. No, it doesn't let you buy supplies in invite-only sessions, still needs public. And you're right about not starting any sales from it.

Arcade machines take too long to break even, only get them if you actually want to play the arcade games, I have seen dedicated have topics about those.

Arcade doesn't offer any solo friendly missions. Even the Diamond Casino prep missions are not solo friendly.

Also, since when does Terrorbyte let you buy supplies? Last time I checked, it only let you steal them.

(note: special cargo doesn't fall under "supplies", the crates are stock, not supplies, you steal them anyway, and the money you pay is just the finder's fee)

About the Diamond Casino heist: TL;DR don't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Cayo Perico is easier and quicker to prep and doesn't punish you for skipping "optional" preps (eg. you don't do Casino Silent&Sneaky without "optional" level 2 passes)

Also, trust me when I tell you that most randoms on Casino heist are insufferable (check my posts in heist failures topic)

And even if you have friends to heist with (yes, I know, you said solo) Cayo Perico with friends still pays better than Casino, even though Casino has more variety.

I misspoke. I usually steal.

I don't care about public sessions. If it is something important like selling the Nightclub,I resmon a public session. If RS ever manages to stop me from from going solo-public,then I stop playing.

Eh,if I have extra $$ on Wed,I'll buy the Arcade mostly for the control terminal and another spawn point. And you can never have too many garages.

I don't own an arcade, but I thought the Casino heists were done through the casino penthouse. No?

It's been a long time since I've done them. How is the arcade linked to them?

Arcade is the place where you set up the Casino Heist, the Penthouse has its own missions not related to the heist but gives some extra possibilities to it like level 1 security passes or revealing camera view areas.

Thanks. Man, it's been a while but I could swear I did Casino heists (the one's with the Duggans) back when the casino came out.

Correct. However, I recommend not bothering with the level 1 pass. They are not worth grabbing, as they only open the entrance door at the staff lobby or waste disposal, everything inside is level 2.

Is the arcade location near Eclipse tower (8-bit?) a good one to get? Seems like a decent location.

Yes, it's the best location overall when price is not an issue, and the second best in my opinion.

Best overall because it's central in the city. Very good for the casino heist preps. If you have an apartment in Eclipse tower, or a nightclub in Vinewood, it's a no-brainer.

Second best in my opinion because it's the most expensive and La Mesa is slightly closer to the casino, and I like having the sewers and train tunnel nearby to lose the cops.

The only thing I don't like about La Mesa is the preps that send you all the way to Chumash, like vault drills from Fleeca bank.

Slightly unrelated, but when I join random casino heists, I find the more expensive the arcade, the better the heist is prepped in general. I suspect a lot of Paleto arcade owners got theirs for free.

Casino heist is what you do from Arcade and where you rob the vault, with penthouse you get Casino missions (Loose Cheng etc) where you fight Duggans, and then there is Casino work where you do a small errand for Agatha like recover stolen chips or something.

Its a good location, its the one I would propably pick if I had to choose it now. What is still keeping me in La Mesa is that I have 3 garages near it and its part of a straight line that has LS Car Meet, Arcade, Auto Shop and Casino in it.

It's a matter of personal preference just like the auto shops, I like Davis and Grapeseed best, in terms of gameplay I think it doesn't matter which arcade you get inside the city limits. I have the one ine Grapeseed, since some of (the more difficult) preps take place in the countryside it is ok, just don't get Paleto Bay.

https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Arcades

I would check out locations in game (except Paleto Bay) and then decide.
