The Last of Us TV Series

I know there are a handful of The Last of Us fans in here. What do you guys think about the TV series?

 

I'm anticipating its release hopefully next year. I'd love to see a cinematic take on the game's events. I'm sure they'll add some scenes which weren't shown in Part 1, such as the confirmed extended role of Frank as well as new characters we haven't seen in the game.

 

What we've seen of Ellie and Joel were basically less than 13 hours bonding together as well as with people they met along the way. They said the show is gonna be based off the game, with minor deviations as artistic liberty. So, these never-before-seen scenes are probably gonna comprise about 10-15% of the series at least.

He clearly has the Joel look but I just can't help but see Pedro instead. He looks more like someone cosplaying as Joel. Hopefully that changes once it airs.

Me too. I've only seen him in Narcos. As you said, he can pull off the look, but I can still see Pedro behind it.

 

There are lots of complaints on the actor choice. Clearly some people would have picked some actors over the cast. Me for one, can't see much of Ellie in Bella Ramsay. At least not until I see the actors' actual performance.
