Is any of the beta stuff going to appear in the trilogy's definitive edition?

They sure as sh*t wont be adding back music that's for sure. Still betting missions like the G Spotlight will be heavily edited/censored for "modern audiences" as well too. So don't bet on them adding anything, lately all we've been shown is them removing stuff with a pretty graphical polish on top.

Sadly I doubt it, these remasters seem to be using the PC version as a base too which might explain why tone wise they've not carried over the PS2 stuff.

Highly unlikely. Rockstar outsourced these remasters instead of doing them themselves. That shows how much they care.

It would've been cool to revisit some of it though. I.e. cut cars.

 

Maybe peds; wouldn't surprise me if any new ped additions are based on old beta models.

Other than what's been confirmed on the technical front I'd say 99% of the games will be identical to what we have now. It would be great to see some beta stuff snuck in, but I'm not holding my breath.

For the love of God, I hope they don't censor anything else, butcher any missions and hopefully relicense and/or add new songs. The Vice City Confederate naval jack censorship is already getting bad enough; I don't want another Warcraft 3: Reforged-like situation on our hands.

Rockstar is a complete joke now, no wonder Dan Houser left..not handling the remaster of the three iconic games that made them so popular is just stupid. Instead they waste more time on GTA Online

EDIT - I've heard Reforged was outsourced to a different studio (Lemon Sky), kinda like how the Xbox 360/PS3 verison of San Andreas wasn't good to say the least because it was outsourced to Grove Street Games. That's what you're talking about, right?
