ah back in the day when rockstar was a good developer. i loved rdr1 multiplayer. it was simple and so fun. undead nightmare and the overrun mode was awesome. we need those people making rdr2 content.

There is not such things as "free" in R* world...

 

You got the basic Halloween pass, thats it...

Otherwise you have to buy it for 20 GB

Check the progression tab, and you will see thath you was granted  the basic Halloween Pass...

R* screwed us again...

It's a pretty disappointing 'pass' quite frankly.

If it wasn't free I'd definitely give it a pass.   🤡

Last year's was massively better.

 

The lantern, and maybe the decorated Helier jacket are the only two items that hold any interest for me.

Did all of today's dailies, 'bought' the pass after completing three (I always forget to get the current pass activated first), and I've still hit rank 10 in it.

Way too easy to finish, in my opinion.

Sigh, I forgot to check my mailbox, so I just purchased the pass for 20 gold. Now obviously I can not claim it for free. Not that I am concerned as I have just over 2200 gold but still. I hope players with less are not as trigger happy as I was.

So the shirt and the coat are pretty nice, I only wished we had other color options to choose from than covered in blood though.

Also that lantern is giving me super Ghost Rider vibes, and I like it! 😁

If only we had makeup options like in GTA, going with an honest Ghost Rider skull face costume, sans the mask, would be fun this Halloween.

I really enjoyed when the weather effect darkens the sky, and when the zombified stage coaches roar into town in the Call To Arms, it was very surreal!

 

But I was a little sad I did not notice anything creep into the real world or other events though - I had been particularly hoping the Trade Route would be attacked by Zombies haha! And maybe decorations and parties in saloons, that kind of thing.. replace the bar peanuts with candy.. I dunno.. replace the R* fish in a barrel I'm shooting here with swedish fish.. that kind of thing

I could see them dropping Christmas content on the 23 and running it till February

Am I correct to complain say that the skull lantern permanently replaces the standard lantern? No switching back after Halloween?

Get on your horse and select the lantern slot, then press a direction on the d pad to cycle through your lantern collection, like you do with your ammo types

I want to be able to skin the saddles, like i use the nagadoches but want the aligator ranch saddle skin on it, same for the stirrups.

I really hate all those barbie colored stuff in RDO, i like authentic old western stuff and colors, thats why i really dont care for Halloween in RDO with all the masks and bloody stuff.

Did get the pass tho cause i had all 4 passes but only the parcels are usefull to me.

Rockstar sucks in what they did with RDO imho...
