You can add this Gordo as a new ped or you can just replace the original Gordo ped (if you don't have much experience in adding stuff, this should be the way to go; but I think you did add cars/guns without replacing originals, so adding a ped should be exactly the same). It shouldn't conflict at all. However, some of the additional clothes are still pretty buggy and may only look good at certain angles. Fixing them is not so easy so if I do that it'll take some time

What car(s) are giving you that vibe? The Deluxo? Surely that's the oddball bothering you. I actually appreciated the Tahoma you brought up because I've now decided to replace the Stanier with it. They share similar road characteristics, but the Tahoma brings more flavor to the table. I have another idea to swap out the Impaler that I think everyone would approve of. It's like when you watch a movie made in the present day that takes place in the 70s or 60s and all the cars are immaculate and flawless, it's even less realistic in the present for a place like LC. Okay great, I agree with you there, but look at how many mint condition Sabre GTs and Dukes are running around the vanilla game. I will replace some of these muscle cars with images of the rusty variants as it will better suit the atmosphere. Muscle cars don't need clearcoat to rip through the streets anyway. I've always thought the Deluxo could also be based on the older Volkswagen Scirocco. I'm an 80s sports car nut with a 1988 RX-7 myself maybe I ought to add that car as an elder version of the ZR350. Didn't the Dukes have some beater variant or am I imagining it? I'd have no issue with muscle cars being there as long as they're in sh*t shape like all the road salt and crap drivers you'd get in LC. You're right tho, the Sabre GT didn't have have a beater variant and was near mint. It'd make sense if it were a secret car hidden in some boomer's garage like the Sultan RS, but oh well, I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too. If you want a sporty thing to replace the Deluxo, can I recommend the Remus that was recently added to GTA Online? It might just be my personal experience but I've seen it's basis used more as a sh*tty second hand car more than an actual sporty car, almost always found in a high school parking lot or left abandoned on the side of the highway with the flashers on and a giant leak coming from under the hood. Yeah, it's got sporty potential no doubt, but it's always overlooked by it's pedestrian appearance. idk that's just me tho

Naughtius Maximus
Man, I remember Blood and a Four Leaf Clover being one of the first concept threads I've read and gazed upon here (along with The Code of The Streets, From Russia Without Mercy, Life's Price and The King of the City). All of them surely inspired me to open an account and give my best shot at concept-writing. BAAFLC was a dream come true, plain and simple: If anyone don't say Gordon deserved being stepped up to a leading role after his infamous "So you in, big guy? Or are we gonna have to kill ya?" line, I'll stab them in the eye with a fork, LOL... I obviously considered and still consider missions like Graveyard Shift and Dead Men Tell No Tales (not to mention finely-figured out the crossover to Gracie kidnapping with The Honeymoon two-parter) as the epitome of good ol' mission writing-and-structuring: The right balance between reasonable backdrop and hot steamy action without going too much 'cowboy sh*t'. As much as the story was great, I've always felt that BAAFLC could have done more justice to bring needed shine on the McReary clan, the overly aforementioned Purgatory nasty f*cks (whose glory days are over by the events of GTA IV) and their gimp work for the Guernsey guineas. I'm guessing that's what you intend to do with one way or another, Akaviri? No matter what it is, I'm sure that this is the remaster we've all missed for. Seeing Jeansowaty talking about how much of an eccentric character Claude Wome turned out to be, I think I recall some of your original (and later) plans for inducting Kenny Petrovic into the story and having Gordo scoop out the Bank of Liberty score? I'd sure like to hear a creator's commentary on How, What, Why and all of that. All in all, this is something to go to an Irish pub and toast your cold, foamy beer for. It wasn't for lack of interest, but rather making the whole story work with so much red tape around it. You've got Niko assassinating one of the brothers, which creates a problem. This time around, I'm going to get Gordon a little closer to Derrick and Francis. With increased dialogue between characters, we will piece together things about the old days. Funny you mention Graveyard Shift as a favorite. I was considering removing the Papi arc entirely as I was reading back through things. It was necessary for the crossover MOB and I had intended, but it was a dead-end that didn't serve much otherwise. I went back and updated the Vehicles section. The Vamos is now a rusty suicide machine. The Dominator has been renamed the McQueen, using the Rapid GT Classic model. This pays homage to the original thread, and I find it a bit clever as the car is a combination of a fastback Mustang (Bullitt - Steve McQueen) and an old Aston Martin. The Evolution XS and 190Z have new pictures. Still working on a good picture for the Tahoma, which will be an old 80s Caprice. For now the Stanier will stay. Tahoma is now added, Stanier removed. Buffalo was also removed in place of the Stinger GT, basically the same idea. A high performance version of the Presidente. Also was able to center the preface introduction better, so now the text is now perfectly in line. E Revere
I might have a suggestion too. The opening cutscene has Gordon picking a petty fight with Mel, the drunken Russian who literally can't stay on his own feet. Although, this interaction is a nice homage to IV, Mel supposedly quits drinking shortly after Escuela of the Streets, which is long before Three Leaf Clover so I think it could be removed for the sake of chronology. The Coconut Kid
Now, what you're all missing here about the cars is that @universetwisters has a couple of kickass Buicks he'd like to sell and Gordon would look perfect in the driver's seat. Never mind that they're covered in year old pizza. Am I right? Seriously. I appreciate the new additions. The Tahoma is beautiful. I watched that clip of Ryan O'Reilly in Oz and it's the perfect addition. I love the new Nova/Vamos too. The beat-up model really reminds me of this classic chase from the seventies. This is a really good catch and you're absolutely right. I actually think the timeline Akavari is using is an improvement on GTA IV though. You can meet Mel after Escuela of The Streets. But this is exactly one mission after Niko has been chased out of Hove Beach by Dimitri. There's a huge target on his back. Both Dimitri and Bulgarin want him dead. Probably Kenny Petrovic too. When I first played GTA IV, I felt like I was going to experience the same terror going back to Hove Beach as we did driving through Saint Marks in GTA III. It makes no sense to me Niko passing through so soon. At least with the BAAFLC timeline, there's that period for the heat to die down. It would mean that Mel sobers up at a later date. Perhaps with Comrades closed, he began drinking in Steinway instead. After all, that part of Queens/Dukes actually has a large Russian population, IIRC? Good catch either way. Gotta love Scott Weiland - RIP. Good song but I've done a lot of careful placement for the Radio Broker soundtrack, wanting to keep it as New York based as possible. It's led me down a rabbit hole and I've found some interesting groups as a result. I like the balance I've struck so far with retaining the original feel, the alternative electronic instrumentation but also some heavy hitting tracks that fit the DLC as well. I have actually made some changes to the soundtrack, not sure if anyone noticed. Thank you for the suggestion, it's nice to get some feedback on the soundtrack section. There's actually a lot of mileage in this. Say GTAIV is remastered. Rockstar decide to expand the online component. You just know they will. They go back to 2008 and focus on your online protagonist from then. In GTAIV: Online, I'm pretty sure the protagonist works for Kenny Petrovic. There's all the running around in Mafiya Work. Hangman's NOOSE is helping him flee the country. But what next for our main man? It leaves a lovely opportunity to tie into an Online story. The protagonist has to freelance to make a buck. Who does he run into? The same people you've all fleshed out over the years. Jermaine. Gordon. Both of those Tales From Liberty City concepts can more than inspire add-ons to a remaster. Realistically, they would have to condense them heavily. But it's been done with Tuners. Then there's the chance to gain closure on things we've all speculated on over the years. What becomes of the Irish, The Lost, The Commission, the Pegorinos, the Russians? How did Niko drop off the radar? Where did Luis set up? They could follow the same method as GTA:O and add more modern cars to the game progressively. Same with finishing certain bits of construction around the map. They could advance time to 2013 or even push it further. Loads of potential for a more grounded, story-driven online mode. And @Akaviri if you're out there... we love 'ya. Akaviri
Until I post the Remastered Story, in the meantime I figured I'd dig up the original missions and plug 'em in as a placeholder. I'm sure there are plenty of folks who haven't read them and would get a kick out of the old 2010 throwback! Those who know the original may find that Papi is no longer included. I have omitted him from the upcoming revision in an attempt to free up space. His arc was entertaining but unnecessary and came to a dead-end (literally). The painting fiasco remains as it was a wonderful crossover to Code of the Streets. The revision will include many changes but the majority of familiar events will remain. There will be new arcs that will be quite interesting! On a side note, I will confirm that I am also working on GTA LC78 which has been an even more ambitious undertaking. It will be featuring a full story and missions to boot. Sorry I've been taking forever, guys. I promise it's because I procrastinate have high standards!
