What’s the first thing you’re going to do in Vice City Definitive Edition?

Personally I’m going to try to repeat the feat I did in 2002 by “accidentally” punching a cop getting a wanted level within seconds of being able to move.

 

But seriously I really want to cruise Ocean Drive in all that 4K glory and just walk around taking in everything like I did the first time playing Vice City all those years ago.

Outside of that, i'll mostly be driving around and aiming for that condo with the helipad. I always had a soft spot for that place.

Probably just drive around for a while and look at things in the first island. Hopefully it has some sort of photo mode so I can take 7500 pics before the first mission.

Even if it doesn’t have a dedicated photo mode depending on what platform you’re on we still have access to great photo/video features. It wouldn’t surprise me if Social Club is included to allow us to upload photos like GTA V and RDR2.
 

I’m planning on making a collage of various screenshots and might even share some videos.

Once saving at the Ocean View Hotel after dropping Ken off, I do what I always do in all (3D) GTA's: grab a taxi and finish the 100 fares odd-job, followed by the firetruck missions, before getting all (so far available) hidden packages.

I don't understand why people are considering that tomy (and Claude for that matter) will now be able to swim... It was a deliberate choice by R* back then to limit the players ability to explore the full map at first and it would make no sense it letting the player swim now, imo!

DAMN, I hope they let us give us more outfits for Tommy. But, I might stick with the cop outfit as soon as it's available.

It’ll be interesting. I’d say besides the confirmed GTA V control layout and the updated drive by mechanics in San Andreas the large majority of base mechanics will more than likely stay intact.

 

In saying that given how notoriously petty and nit picky some people have been so far to the point of complaining about a missing bush it wouldn’t surprise me if swimming was included people would find some way to put a negative spin on it like that it goes against the “charm” or something.

 

Even if it wouldn’t make much sense compared to the original intention as something that’s common place in open world games now having the ability to swim would be a Godsend. It doesn’t have to be like GTA V, but just being able to swim like GTA IV and VCS would be nice.
