Yeah, anytime I've seen the phrase "modern sensibilities" it's directly referring to the visual and control upgrades and it's never a direct quote from Rockstar as far as I can tell. It's just "reporters" regurgitating each other's work. Obviously there's already been at least one content change that's triggered certain people and there very well could be more. I think the game's are, for the most part, going to be left in tact, though. My excitement level is still very high for this release. I do feel the disappointment creeping on though due to some of this censorship... I may have to look into the legality of Rockstars marketing. If they claim this to be a remaster.. Isn't that different from a remake? They are remaking the game or are they remastering? Im going to sue for damages and false advertisements. Lmao. A big burly guy, 5 o'clock shadow, perky fake boobs... it was almost very Monty Python-esque. I hope it remains intact, but I feel like they might edit it slightly to make it more absurd. I know this thread is mainly about this specific mission, but in the same vein, does anyone think the Haitain/Cuban censorship will remain? If they already decided it should be censored there's no way they'll go back on it. It wasn't a time sensitive thing where it was something that was specifically more offensive due to world events at the time or whatever. Restoring racist dialogue would be terrible PR. I always thought the Haitian/Cuban stuff was justifiable (moreso than Phil's shirt) since it was A) Racially prejudiced characters who were criminals/scumbags saying it and B) The literal names of the gangs were "Cubans" and "Haitians" and they really weren't referring to every Cuban/Haitian person, they were talking specifically about enemy gangs. I guess there's a chance they might rename the gangs but obviously they wouldn't re-record any voice lines. Hopefully they fixed the cut scenes and dodgy auto cutting, though. I think it would be/would've been too difficult to rename the gangs in the finished game due to how much dialogue would've had to be changed. I just mean if they'd done it in the original game.
