Vicetopia
I just played Vice for 3 hours straight, getting perfect FPS. I flew the Maverick, and when you land it, the air gusts that get blown off the ground (forms a circle around the chopper) cause my frame rate to drop to 5 or less. After that, my game is continually shuttering nonstop. Is there any way to disable the air gusts on the ground from the Maverick?! It'll save my frame rate
Opius
Taking a estimated guess, I'd say if you made the alpha channel for the texture in particle.txd either completly transparent or opaque, it should stop the game try to blend it, thus saving valuable frames. Am I the only who finds flying a hoptercopter with digital controls a pain in the arse?
Xune
You most certainly are not. It's just plain stupid that we are expected to constantly tap buttons to get anywhere. Just do what I did: Invest in and analogue controller and use that instead of the keyboard when driving the bikes or the helicopters. Xune. Auto-Thefty
Yeah, when I get VC today I'm gonna get a PS2-identical controller with it. But that'll also be for Enter the Matrix when I get that.
Vicetopia
If you go into the particle.cfg file it's called "heli_dust" Thanks for the help! :-D
