I think we can expect the model to be altered a bit. We know for a fact that there are new and/or altered peds so I feel confident about this.

I hope so. I hope they also updated his animation to make him look less like a 50 year old man and more like the soldier we know from VCS. There’s no reason why he should be slouched over walking only 2 years after the game ended.

I don't think they're going to hire Dorian Missicky again just to have him speak what, 3 to 4 voice lines?

 

I think he's keeping the same voice and maybe, maybe they will change his character model.

Oh, just one of the greatest games ever made that R* likes to sweep under the rug and pretend never existed, as if that legendary digital Phil Collins performance meant NOTHING!!!!!

Look at screenshots in the analysis threads. There are some recolored peds on the screenshots.

Giving existing peds a different color palette is not new or altered imo... When creating or importing assets they always start b&w. Rigging Lance's model to adhere to the motion capture data, however, is a different story, so it reains to be seen if they actually change the model.

On this alone, I believe he will appear completely unchanged. They're not that bothered about VCS and I wouldn't be surprised if sooner or later, R* would just say VCS/LCS aren't part of the canon because it's easier for them, like the 3D/HD continuity.

To this day, that quote is exactly why I still think Vic Vance was not the one that was killed in the beginning of Vice City, despite Rockstar stating it was. Just doesn't make sense for his character, he was done with drugs, done with Lance, and done with Vice City. Imo (not that it matters) the Vance brother who was killed in the intro of Vice City will always be Pete Vance.
