I noticed something is different with the traffic and made an comparsion. Look at the brake lights and how smooth they brake now. Looks like a different traffic system. Not sure which one is better but the brake light improvements make it now really better.

Also take a look at the road itself. Seems to be have little more detail like that bump, but i could be wrong because i didn't had the zoom in my footage.

i think it's because traffic and vehicles handling are more like those of san andreas

Its almost like you are part of the team that was making this remaster and need to defend it..

That picture looks really good, but how are you so sure we will like the atmosphere? Just because it looks better does not automatically mean the whole product is better.

The atmosphere in the original trilogy is very specific and has grown on us who played these games when they first were released.

i don't know if i want to ruin the good childhood memories with some halfass good looking product that possibly sucks ass.

At least the new character models are just bad and disappointment.

Brother, I am talking about it in the context of the trailer.

Now, yes, it could be ass in the sense that you launch the game and it crashes instantly.

Or maybe I am a Rockstar employee. :yee:

Better yet, look at the light being reflected on the sign!!
Pretty sure it's SA code if it isn't redone.

You tell me 😛

lol theres some bully problem starting in this forum lately with 3 same users in these 3 different trilogy topics.

Can't anymore even comment things normally about this definitive edition if its even little critical, without some arrogant ass holes coming with some "you are wrong😝. This definitive edition is 100% perfect. How dare you say anything bad about it!!!" type of crap.

..and its the same 3 users every time with their mighty entitled opinions.

Not happening only to me, but to everybody who says something negative about this remaster.

I have always been big fan of games made by R*, but not that level that Im completely gullible enough to gobble down any turd they produce just because its made by R*.

I like lots of the things Ive seen in the trailer, but theres also lots of things idon't like. Im not going to be yes men for things i dont like.

san andreas traffic sucks!! why is this a good thing people want? have you ever been on any highway in san andreas? pure chaos. Try standing in the middle of the highway and watch as a semi truck speeds at you going 100kmph and instantly stops in front of you while every car behind the truck crashes into it creating chaos

I am not sure if you serious with this one, but the reflection is just because Unreal Engine light rendering and its specular map on the sign.

Not nitpicking, I'm very happy with what we've seen so far, but if I were in charge of the project, I would have made more of an effort to stick to the original with situations like the above pic, where you see they've removed a lot of the fog, which was initially probably there just to mask draw distance limitations, but ended up being part of the game's character IMO. I think you could split the difference and maybe halve the amount of fog. Similarly, I see they removed the yellow entrance markers in SA. While they did look cheesy and would look even worse in contrast with the remaster, there has to be some way you could just update them to look better. The wanted star in the above pic makes me wonder how they handled those.

What fog?

I think they probably just switched the entrance markers off for the trailer/screenshots

I think the opposite. They've probably implemented the HD era of entering universes, which was already quite similar in Vice City anyway.

This would be a huge fix, would make San Andreas feel more connected.

i think almost all interiors don’t match their exteriors, so either all interiors have been reworked, or it’s the same as it was. i’m curious tho, why they removed the yellow cone from binco in the trailer, if it’s just for the trailer, then why they didn’t bother removing health and wanted star pickups in other shots

they probably removed each pickup manually, the yellow arrow was obvious so they got rid of it, the health and adrenaline pickups were probably not noticed

Then what about gang wars in SA? Health pickups are essential there.

Horseshoes, snapshots, oysters, etc. in SA too.

just for the trailer, in game they will for sure be there. It also makes me think that there will be no photo mode, since rockstar manually got rid of some pickups and left a few in theres no photo mode that would do that anyway

Full interior in the building on the right? Damn, did they actually make every building enterable?

Nah, it's not a full interior, it's a fake effect that gives the illusion that there's an interior inside, the Spiderman game has this and it's very cool, gives more details and life to the game world.

This is a screenshot from the PS4 version I think, you can see the fake interiors in here, I think they're using the same technique.

wont thta car hit the train and crash into an accident? wrong timing RIP XD

Wouldn't be the first time this happens, check the very last few shots from this trailer of GTA VCS, knowing that area, you can tell the cars are going to crash into the wall off-screen.

Yes unfortunely. I see it also at this scene in the trailer.

This is sad, but it is better to have some buildings with fake interiors as only Buildings with textures.
