San Andreas Definitive Edition Analysis & Comparisons Topic

My overall opinion on the DE so far is that it's been significantly improved in terms of texture quality, some places look really detailed and some just don't. I am pretty sure if the devs increased density of vegetation in other places, that the game would've been much better. The characters could've been much better, but they aren't horrible in their current state. Vehicle shadows and lighting look beautiful, I really like the reflection. The trees are really really good. I said "really" twice, now thrice. I know, they are just good.

 

It's interesting how they've added altered versions of the Orange 12 pedestrian, and also how some places in the Badlands & Whetstone look detailed. 

Curious if anyone else's waiting for the physical copy of the game to try it out? I was thinking about pre-ordering (PS5 version), but didn't want to take any chances considering how R* has been treating their older titles.
Considering the fact that someone leaked that IV is the next title that's getting remastered (with TLAD & TBoGT), it looks like we'll have a nice set of legendary GTA installments to play on next-gen consoles and beyond.

Skateboard was never going to be a thing and isn't. First person is just for some specific weapons and maybe that zoomed in vehicle camera (I think the vehicle one is different).

How does the file system look like? Is it completely like UE or are there parts of Renderware as well?
