Definitely, yeah, maybe reusing assets from the VR game too as the game's graphics would become more glaring once you're in first person mode and an upgrade in detail is needed.

I saw this too but maybe the wheel was back to the original position as I think he is done turning at that point? 

 

Anyway, not too hopeful as he has his hands like a metre above while sailing the boat, just like how it was.

I compare screenshot of city with original. Found some improvements

Apparently in remaster will be added some details to buildings in form of new models, but apparently remodeled models of buildings with a better detalization of geometry is not in gta sa, at least according to this screenshot city

Well, I should say good work firstly.

 

Secondly, I don't think either of three games have any geometry improvements. Maybe interiors, is that what you mean? As for that, all 3 games have had some improvement but it is not consistent across all 3 games or even one at a time.

I was referring to the external improvement of buildings, in original many buildings are boxes with stretched texture with windows. Ideally, would like to see a slight improvement in geometry of buildings, adding recesses in windows.

But it seems that such changes are not much, it seems to be only one screenshot from gta vc, where you can see improved model of building, in original protrusions at windows is not. In GTA 3 in one screenshot similar noticeable. And in screenshot of city from gta sa I did not see any improved buildings, pure retexture and adding new models

True, this screenshot seems to be one of the latest in development. Seems very HQ, looks like he is near the trijunction on the way to Malibu Club where the ramp and the VCPD building are. For GTA:SA, there aren't too many screenshots where a building with windows is close enough, so hopefully, it is just that.

Changes:

  • New trees 
  • Much better lighting
  • New street light added
  • Colour of the house changed for aesthetics
  • New skybox
  • Cables are now smoother and less jagged

 

In the trailer, the new lighting gives an appearance of better geometry even if it is not actually improved much.

Idk if it's been posted already, but it looks like there are actual grass objects placed where there was only a grass texture.
It seems like it hasn't been placed everywhere, but having more vegetation would be highly appreciated.P3NTWHJ.png

Did they remove this or is it just so coincidentally covered by the trees? That is the most unlucky thing then. But I don't even see a pixel or pink color

definitley just blocked by the much nicer, denser trees. The old trees were this pixelated texture displayed twice in an X

lol at the outdoor units in the original game. They're just part of the texture. Black-grey splash and we thought it's fine back in the day, haha.

Well actually, I have played GTA San Andreas a lot, but I had CJ never fat.

I think it even took me until like 2 years ago to discover  that there are lets say consequences in the jetpack mission of Truth if he is fat.

Has anyone ever recreated them with the finished game to compare the differences? Nothing really stands out to me but it's been a while since I played SA.

I can't wait to ride out to Bone County and visit Lil Probe Inn bar, been a while since I played some pool with that guy in the white sweater.

Also I hope they updated its exterior, it'd be pretty disappointing to find out it still has a very low poly pavement around it with only an updated texture.

 

The fact that the remaster runs on a completely different engine piques my curiosity and I have so many questions. Can't wait to get my hands on it to start uncovering it all.

 

It is going to be so weird to experience the same game on a new engine after having played it on RenderWare for so long.

This place is pretty problematic in that regard. So far we know that we can see inside some interiors (like CJ's house) and that they also utilize parallel interiors. I think they might darken the glasses of these buildings. That seems like the simplest solution.
