Yes, the car looked f*cked up. They looked fine in GTA SA & 3 screenshots. GTA VC seems to be the least focused title of the three.

The whole remaster kind of reminds me of The Simpsons Hit and Run which for me its a good thing.

If they fix most of issues like loading screen when entering buildings, loading screens between islands and stuff, graphics update and control changes then its good.

I however want to see startup options in the games just like in GTA V, Vulkan api support like RDR 2, instant loading on ssds and just that.

The graphics are cool though especially GTA 3, Claude doesn't look bad to me and flamethrower looks hot.

Maybe because we want good looking games and we are not swallowing everything that R* throws at us... 

 

Really tired of people antagonizing the others with negative feedback. Do you think we don't want those games to be good? Do you think we don't want to be hyped about those releases? We want to, but it's impossible to swallow what GSG/R* did and is charging full AAA price for almost minimal effort imaginable.

I think the character models in SA look just fine, at least when compared to Vice City. And III really looks good, even characters like Sal look fine and Claude looks good too imo.

 

Vice City looks a little too cartoonish when compared to the other two. Also it has flat green textures instead of actual grass in the screenshot whereas SA has some good looking grass.

Wheres the question here? It dosn't look "beautiful"... its all over the place. I can't enjoy how "beautiful" the backgrounds look when textures and 3d models are all over the place. Its like trying to enjoy a great movie but all characters got replaced with funkopops or dog face filters...

You crazy? Literally no one is compering it to gtav... Wth does that even mean? Even if they paid me to do it Id rather play the original than this. The only thing that sounds nice are the improved controls you mentioned. Just read other posts. Keep the new engine and lighting, keep the background changes, keep old low res textures and models for characters, add more props and it would look 100x better than what we getting right now. 

Just wait a year or two for PC mods and you gonna see what Im talking about

We can understand you have qualms but saying it's the minimal effort is laughable, of course some things are gonna go through without a second glance from a dev but a lot of stuff has been remade from the ground up.

And that worries me. Little Havana/Downtown is still to this date R* worst environment to date. If GSG/R* did minimal effort to the whole VC, I really am worried how it will end up looking. Imagine if all they did was take this building and added the parallax interiors to it

And stuff during development is going to go unnoticed. In hind-sight, it's easy to pull apart screenshots and point at the errors, but if you're a dev spending 1000s of hours working on 3 whole games... well, stuff might go unnoticed.
