You're right about the "every pixel" part but this is far from zoomed in. The stuff most people are criticizing is right there in front of your face and can be easily seen with the naked eye in any comparison. Keep in mind that this is literally their only job. Take what's there, and improve on it, and they have already failed in some pretty big aspects and the game isn't even out yet! Seeing stuff like this doesn't really ease people's insecurities about the quality of the stuff they haven't shown yet. Which is more sad, the community pointing out details or the developers not taking those details into account?

Yeah really, I mean look at the upgrade they gave big smoke. Don't you think the player model deserves this kind of treatment?

Doesn't take a genius to notice the pretty stark inconsistencies in design so far. This isn't really nitpicking at this point anymore, it's a red flag.

Tommy's face look slim here compared to the video, his eyebrows also look different, the media we have gotten is definitely from different development timeline!

Maybe it's like that (just a texture) because CJ has a lot of clothes to change into?

 

I mean: More clothes => Less time for each clothes for modeling, texturing... + the ability to change dynamically

Again, if there were more content to amaze us with, they'd show it. But they're showing us the Ocean View entrance again, it's exactly the same image as before, except this time Tommy is wearing tracksuit sweater and there's a glitched blue Admiral behind him. What can it possibly mean? I take it as the evidence that there is nothing left to show us.

I 100% agree with many things you have criticized (E.g. CJ pants seems a joke in comparison with other details), but let us see the very final product. I am pretty sure that you won't need to buy the game to see how the final product will be like. Also patches can be released after the day one for fixing several bugs, at least I hope they will.

what it means is that these screenshots weren't posted by R* on twitter saying "HERE'S A  NEW BATCH OF SCREENSHOTS". 

they were silently put as the store's images (so what was posted elsewhere prior doesn't matter)

There's no way they remade Tommy's clothes but not CJ's. Maybe they know their previous track record so they just playing with us by showing us shi* stuff while the actual game is much more polished this time! Could be possible!

Nah dude, thats literally the first outfit you get in the game. If that dosn't look good, everything else gonna look even worse.  Keep in mind those are the screenshots they choose to promote the game, those are the BEST pictures they have.

Time to accept reality, it looks halfassed AF. Every single screenshot proves the trilogy was rushed

its just a different angle. Look at the explosion scene with Phil from the trailer, its the same face

You realize, that we are only WEEK away. Not two months, LESS THAN ONE WEEK!

What they are going to do by that time?

Remodel all the characters?

Remodel all the cars?

You're delusional if you think anything will be different in the final game.

 

And no, they are not gonna patch up the models. Look at the ME:Andromeda. All they did was fix theeyes, but the characters remained butt ugly
