Of course having the proper set up doesn't mean sh*t if Rockstar f*cked it up again, so far they've yet to use HDR properly, RDR2's attempt at launch was a disaster and the patched version was only slightly better but still not able to set to confirmed standards (Blacks could never reach "True Black" causing a washed out look).

You won't be able to do anything with the file if you can fetch the URL link. Every Xbox title (or should I say VDK) remains encrypted until the console can fetch the encryption key from the Microsoft servers. This process is done the game is live and ready to be played, this is why the Xbox has a slight delay opening the game on midnight launches.

Haha, same boat as well. But at least I took advantage of another promo that gave me not one but 4 months of Ultimate for 0.5 USD, and I'll be happily playing Forza Horizon 5 (already preloaded ).

Hard to say. RDR2 PC started about 6 days before release, Oct 30 2019. The game released on November 5th. Could be tomorrow given Xbox started today. Or it could be at the beginning of next week.

Sure, some places here have 1GBit/s already but not for cheap and only in selected citys. So i'm glad we can preload it. I can't imagine how awful it is to wait half a day for the download to finish and everyone else is on "The Exchange" in GTA III already

From what I saw I am interested and waiting to pull the trigger as soon as I get more info on gameplay and optimization.

I think it makes sense to play GTA VC first, then SA, and then GTA 3, because Vice takes place before SA, and GTA 3 after Sa.

 

Anyway, hopefully we get preload on PC tomorrow
