It really give me something to think about it. It does look like Rockstar is pulling something with this rush release. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea, but maybe there is really something bigger behind it.

It means downloading the game - or almost all of it - before launch day. Then, on launch day, instead of downloading 45 GB, you load the already-downloaded game in the launcher. There may be decryption required as well, but this takes maybe 20 minutes for a 100 GB game, so for 45 GB, it'd be more like 10 minutes. There's also whatever day-one patch the developers put out, but you otherwise are ready to go at launch.

Whats even stranger about this is about 1 month before red dead redemption 2 released ,ign and other gaming outlets,had hands on thoughts about what they played,without showing gameplay,just talking about it. It blows my mind that red dead redemption 2 had this across many gaming outlets,yet this which is arguably a smaller release doesnt.

RDR2 console. A remaster is not quite the same as a fully-fledged new mainline game, we aren't going to have some of that early info we see with main games.

Can I ask why it even matters? You'll still be preloading it before you can play it on the 11th. what difference does it make?

IGN: We played the new definitve edition of San Andreas, in the first mission, we meet Big Smoke at CJ's house and then attend a funeral with Sweet and Kendl. A few missions later, we start taking territories and then CRASH takes us to the Badlands. We then meet The Truth and live in San Fierro. We meet a blind but not stupid Chinese man - Woozie, we do a heist with him. After this, CJ works for an agent called Mike Toreno, go to Las Venturas, come back to Los Santos and get Sweet out of jail. Fat Big Smoke dies and Tenpenny gets his legs amputated in an accident.
