I always assumed San Andreas was too big for the PSP, so we'd get a San Andreas Stories as a trilogy - being Los Santos Stories, San Fierro Stories and Las Venturas Stories - set in 1989. The main characters would be the ballas OG Kane, T-Bone Mendez and Johnny Sindacco.

San Andreas Stories (or maybe Los Santos Stories?) would likely only include Los Santos and nearby countryside, but yeah PSP was quite a lot weaker than PS2, and even PS2 struggled with performance in San Andreas.

 

Shame that by the time the PS Vita came out (2011) GTA HD universe had already started with GTA IV in 2008.

If they wanted to make a San Andreas stories now would be the perfect time for R* to return to it from what they said in 2009

This was a little joke for fans of the series.  The Grand Theft Auto III timeline is not necessarily over

I think February 2012 (US and EU release date) was already too late for them to even consider making it, given GTA V was already announced and in full development.

Judging by the reaction the the Trilogy from the series, dare I say, younger fans, I would say that the likelihood of San Andreas Stories has long since passed.

Over here it's a bit mixed but outside of this forum people are looking forward to it. All the older fans would definitely enjoy a San Andreas stories.

It doesn't mention GAME Radio, I'm of the opinion that there's going to be NEW Radio Stations instead if they add to it. The original people who mixed the radio are long gone now, so it'd feel wrong to tamper with that work because quality wise it's going to be different, not to mention missing the point of the original radio stations (GAME Radioo being compromised of tracks ONLY from the GAME Record Label). However if they ADD a new radio station or two (especially in GTA3's case as it mentions others but not heard) that's an easy way to expand the soundtrack.

San Andreas' land area is around 31.5 sq km while GTA V is at 48.1 sq km. 

 

Vice City is around 5.6 sq km and GTA 3 is 4.4 sq km or less. 

 

San Andreas could technically have even more land area due to burglary missions opening all houses in the state so that they can be broken into. They have more shops, police departments, etc. Afaik, San Fierro Police Department has its own huge interior and is in the game but wasn't used.

Sounds like they massively upgraded the dismemberment .

 

Some of the violence is graphic and can result in dismemberment or mutilation

Gotta love the Combine Harvester part, I remember that mission in Flint County where you're supposed to steal something from a farm and you can run over them. Their bodies come out of a tube...

It takes around 9:15 minutes to go around the whole GTA V map and 10:30 minutes for GTA:SA. 

 

Weird... Technically, they could pull a dick move and slow all cars by just 10% to make the city seem bigger.

Guys is it true audio will sound better in the remasters? Will It be upscaled or something not sure how it works

I'm assuming R* might still have the source audio for most things so it most likely will be better, yes.
