you did the right thing. RDR2 has so many bullsh*t settings that are only there to destroy performance.   

If you want I can share my settings. It's in German though, I'd have to change the language.

Hmm, it wouldn't surprise me if they're reusing some RDR2 trees. I still need to have a deeper look at that

man if they reuse the rdr 2 grass and foliage for the forests of san andreas that would be a dream come true

Same, we did get a driver yesterday but no trilogy mentions.  Probably later.

Yeah I think the PS2 generation really struggled with the wood, even the PS3/XBOX 360 struggled with Tall Trees in RDR. To me, in SA that area was pretty poor and lacked atmosphere but a nice dense woodland area would be great. Some convincing ambient noise, low hanging fog in the morning, creepy cabins at night

Got a response from GSG a hour and half ago, like expected nothing much, pattern-like default response, at least i got one:

 

 

But if somebody from GSG actually readed my crap, I can imagine how they laughed their asses on this one, probably they got like 100 of this type of cringy "letters" from fans already, or they just get this type of crap on a regular basis.

I guess writing "letters" to game companies just ain't my thing.

After all i just tried, nothing bad happened, so don't blame me much on this one.

 

Who knows, maybe they actually listened and will tweak models at least a little bit (yeah, GTA 6 announcement this year is more likely than this).

I believe most of GeForce Experience's stuff is remote (e.g. game profiles and graphics settings) so you'd have to find an URL instead.

Even just an additional sentence would help though lol 'Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate how passionate our fans are and we will forward this to the team'. Idk it just seems a bit dismissive to just say thank you and nothing else. But yeah, I totally see your point, it's hard for them to give a satisfactory answer when the truth is that they're unlikely to make changes to their game because of a fan email - they pay good money for people to make those decisions lol.

In fairness they're probably hearing the same thing from 60 different sides constantly on social media, here, and perhaps more emails.
