20 years of Grand Theft Auto III - Happy birthday GTA III

Happy 20th anniversary GTA 3! Claude looks weird in the Trilogy trailer . I never finished all the missions in GTA 3, but I got to Shoreside Vale. My favourite cars were the Banshee and Yakuza car and Rise FM was my favourite radio. I actually like that Claude doesn't speak, years later it becomes part of what makes the game special. The freedom and the map definitly made the game special. I wish Liberty City had a penitentiary, but other than that the map was good for the time, and not having a map on the pause menu was annoying for me but years later it becomes part of the grace of the game. Same thing about the Colombian Cartel members trying to kill Claude  ! I have a lot of funny memories about GTA 3 and I think now almost everything that annoyed me and others is just funny and essence of the game. The characters were good, I only wish Zaibatsu was added, with characters and missions. 

An amazing game, which deserves to be remembered, it was revolutionary and righfully so in 2001!

20 Years! Where to begin...

 

The iconic intro, music, characters and exploring an open-world like this for that time brings back all the memories. Here’s to Rockstar Games (past, present and future) and most importantly us the fans to celebrate a milestone like this. A game that we will remember always. Happy 20th (still feels crazy that it’s been that long) Anniversary Grand Theft Auto III.

Awesome photo man, love it. I can't wait to see this place in 4k, the trailer made me smile. I still play this game for at least an hour every day. I have been on the PlayStation 4 recently,it never gets old to me. This game is my all-time favorite, and I think it's going to remain so till the day I die. Once again, thanks for the photo.

I'm happy Definitive is all 3 of the Original Big 3. I played San Andreas so much back in the day and again recently that I've forgotten about 3 + VC in a way. I was 6 years old when GTA3 came out. In fact, I didn't have any idea about the game I was so young. I just remember going to my friends house and he was playing it. Even as a little kid, I was blown away by everything. There was nothing remotely close to it at that time. 12 hours at his house taking turns who played went by like it was absolutely nothing. That happened every weekend for a while, the only thing that satisfied my urge was getting a PS2 when I was 7. I've never had as much fun first playing a game as I did with GTA3.

I did this in my spare time a few months ago in order to celebrate, only to add the red logo of the Definitive Edition as a last minute change. It's nothing much but I'm quite pleased with the result:
