I have most of the other Call of Duty games as well, but have only been playing this one lately. I'm new, been almost a week of play now. Figured I would see if anyone would be down to squad up and enjoy some games soon. Β I did not see another Warzone topic, but if I missed it please link it below. I apologize in advance... DODI3OG Posted October 18, 2021 Share Posted October 18, 2021 Would have been my favorite game if not for the server issues. 200ms ping in my country, matchmaking issues, and if I turn off crossplay, I can't even find a match 100% of the time since August 2020. Β Add to the fact that SBMM is forced upon its normal matches, and it's such a disaster to play on adding the 200ms lag. Β I have more than 50% chance winning most MP games, and I'm usually 2nd or 3rd on the list if I'm having a good game. I'd top Shipment every now and then after a good warmup. But, winning BR in Warzone is too difficult. Though, I won about 12 times in Plunder. Β Also sucks that it's too grindy if you don't have the current base game. I stopped playing because Cold War weapons were becoming the new meta in January, and it takes a lot of time to max level one weapon only for it to be replaced by a new meta. I might play it again when Vanguard comes out, but I can't see myself playing it for days on end like I used to. And Warzone is the kind of game that has to be played for hours upon hours to include warmup and experience rate accumulation. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had cold war on my xbox, didn't really care for it multiplayer was, zombies was pretty awesome, campaign was all right but a little too short. Could have been better, a whole lot better. I purchased Modern Warfare yesterday and installed it, now I am about to sit and beat the campaign on realism. Maybe tinker around on multiplayer for a little while. As far as Vanguard goes, I'm very interested. I loved WWlI. I see this is made by the same people, Sledgehammer. So I will definitely be giving it a chance. & the trailer was awesome. I should have played on Realism mode on my first playthrough. Would have stretched the game a day or two worth of playthrough. Realism would have been fun for my 2nd, unfinished playthrough if the enemy spawning was really realistic. COD games have this quirk in the campaign where if the devs want you to move to the next objective, they would spawn unlimited enemies and have them throw grenades to your position. I'd love to talk about some spoilery stuff.... Β As for the story, I think it's as good as COD4's. Would have been more fun for me if I didn't binge through a Let's Play in 2019. I was thinking I don't have the money to buy the game, and by the time I did, the MP would have been deserted. I was wrong. hahaha Β I would have loved playing MP 1v1 or 2 vs bots at home with my buddies. The thing is that Warzone has to always come along. Warzone+MW2019 takes about 220gb on my PS4. And I'm reeeeally tired of downloading and redownloading just to make room for this mess of a good game. Β If you're considering buying an account for MP, I can give you a deal. I have all Battle Pass skins, except for S1. And I have 3 tracer packs, as well as a couple Crew Expendable-themed skins for the SAS. Also War Pig and All Ghillied Up skins. And of course, I have damascus. The rest is up to you to grind. Also, I might have a thousand CPs lying around. I swear, having damascus really intimidate players watching the killcam. And today I'm trying to knock out a couple more, but I doubt I'll finish it today. There are some rough spots on realism mode, but I have a few children as well so being distracted is easy. But I plan on trying to finish it through the day, if not tomorrow. I'll be sure to keep you updated though. I'd say, with the amount of innovation they added intoΒ MW2019, it's hands down the best grounded COD game I ever played. I don't think Cold War has convinced me enough to cash out. Β The storyline is really epic and more true-to-life compared to COD 4's. Although, as a COD game, there were artistic liberties on top of realism. Small, fast paced and with a limited amount of respawns, it represents to me what a COD Battle Royale should be. Highest place I got was 4th. It's basically better than my Fortnite experience if not for the lack of recoil on Cold war guns, the hackers, as well as my aging controller. I still have all my gameplay videos from 2020. I had 8 months of fun playing Warzone with strangers and friends I met along the way. I was having a blast just grinding weapons half the time. Too bad, me and my cousin quit it for the same reason you did. Β I jumped back into the game in January, but the Cold war weapons used by the majority are too OP lacking recoil, even the m60.
