spinnie
I did notice a difference in North Point Mall when I was recently playing the game at a friends house. He has it on a PS2 while I have the PC version. Anyways, he was in need of some money, a few hunderd orso. And I thought I could help him by going to the Mall and start chasing "bad guys" the cops where chasing. In the PC version (the one I have atleast) there is always atleast one cop running around in there, going after those gangmembers one by one. So Good Citizen Rewards all around one would say. I got the Mall, it was nighttime, but the Mall was totally empty, I mean I had to run around the whole place 3 times before even passing a group of peds. When I finally found a cop he wasn't doing a darn thing. When I got home I checked it right away, and low and behold. Gangmembers and cops all over the freakin place! It may be because of the fact that with a mouse you look around more, causing the peds to spawn quicker. But my friend told me he rarelly saw the cops chasing other people. While I see it happen all the time. Makes you wonder. (Also the fact that the pause menu has a different look suggests it's not a straight PS2>PC port, like for example FF8 which was just that)
GOUFY
There are some differences in the platforms, like you can rotate the game camera freely so you see more stuff than on PS2. Now you can't autoaim instead you can aim everything on mouse that makes the game triple times easier on PC. Despite that enhancement, you'll notice some slight difference like there's no more smoke grenades instead the one at the Washington Beach PD are grenades. Kind of sad because I used to love seeing stupid peds running about in circles in the smoke. Some more, there's a change in the cutscene when you buy filmstudio at Prawn Island, and you should see for your self. But above all no there's no new missions, just like the original. Put controlls on classic and get yourself an analog controller for the PC, the Logitech Rumblepad is a nice one for example. It gives the game identical controlls to the PS2, with 2 extra buttons on the controller. Autoaim will also be available. But the mouse won't work anymore. Whichever you personally prefer, but it is still available
Flashpoint
I can say that the Graphics have improved & the modding capabilities have improved then what they were in GTA3. But still the controls suck to what Iv'e heard but I don't care Im going to get it anyway.
jimmsta
Actually, it appears that all the graphics for the gas grenades are in the main TXD files. All we have to do is wait for someone to make a mod for them to work. I'm sure it couldn't be too hard...
BabyBoco
yes there are some differneces. graphics, resolution, a few lines added to the chat stations i think. and diaz's admiral will be in the stretch's spot sometimes, you can drive cars and motorcycles into buildings without having to jump in the air. And a love fist limo will spawn in front of v rock. ohh and the menu lol.
Watashi
diaz's admiral will be in the stretch's spot sometimes That makes completing Sunshine Autos list much harder. The stretch spawns in the Vercetti mansion like 1 times out of 10 or even 20. And stretch limousines don't grow on trees in Vice City.
spinnie
It's actually next to the stretch's spot, where Diaz parks it after driving back.(Nose pointing towards building and all) Both follow the same spawning rules as the rest, just run a block and it'll respawn. I sometimes get both cars even this way

Atleast i find that it does
