The scary thing is walking around the countryside for 24 real-life hours to find absolutely nothing for that Bigfoot achievement/trophy. :prismkek:

Be interesting if they expand on the pit with the multiple body bags, was creepy and somewhat interesting, there's also a throwaway line by the host of K Rose that kind of matches with the number of bodies in that pit, so will they build a random event/side mission around it or will it remain an enigma?

Watching weird videos with Loquendo voice over made me scared sh*tless as a kid and I only dared to play San Andreas if my brother was with me lol

The only ever good "myth" was somewhat the las brujas one, where a police rancher occasionally drives by (forgot when) suggested by both the police chatter and the interactive flash website :x

They should make it more creepier TBH. As a kid those ghost cars look creepy but these days it ain't much of scare. Needs more "Friday the 13th" kind of atmosphere. 

 

And we def need Aliens on Mt. Chillad and the bigfoot. (Change.org people?)

If weather/timecycles are remastered I hope we see some proper dark nights and fog effects, I think it would add a ton of atmosphere to the countryside and places like Back o'Beyond.

What about panopticon?

Nobody is talking about that location, but its one of few that feels creepy in fog. There is even blood in cabin.

Panopticon is literally place where is somebody watching you.

The only suggestion in this forum section that I fully support! Definitely darker nights, plus an option to carry a functioning torch would be great.

San Andreas' countryside and even desert felt genuinely spooky to me at times. I felt really remote.  

 

The rusty wheelchair was a genuinely freaky thing to see. It had a real profound effect on me as a teenager. It was the suggestibility of it. Did some physically handicapped person one day just have enough and slithered into the cold lake on a dark and eerie night?  It's that kind of visual storytelling in Rockstar Games that is phenomenal. This one image paints a very tragic looking story. Red Dead is great at this when you find abandonned homes and you look around them. There is something very eerie about it.

I thought that Mount Chiliad was quite eery, particularly the south-western approach with the switchbacks and the self-illuminating cabin at night. I wonder whether the remastered versions of 3, Vice City, and San Andreas will retain their eerriness and charm despite improved graphics. Volumetric lighting could really improve the atmosphere across the trilogy.
