Is it just me or does this game have massive framedrop from time to time, and also have a constant small lagg? It dosnt feel like 60fps at all. 
 

Next gen consoles cant run this perfectly, what is going on?

That's not surprising to hear - I'm on a One X which isn't as powerful as a Series X or PS5, but it should have no trouble with a game like this.. RDR2 looked and performed beautifully in 4K on the One X.. but here I get many lock-ups, frame drops, the worst performance has been during the flight school missions. Absolutely dreadful. Sounds like poor optimisation across the board.

Same here, on One X, was stunned by the framedrops... Well, considering who made this DEmaster, maybe not that stunned

Remaster LOL, i putted it in preformence mode and it work a lot better, no lagg now and i cant really see the quality drop either

Who? The modders that are being sued by Rockstar and Take Two? After this game Rockstar is dead for me, how can a multi billionare company release this crap.

I approve totally what you are saying, R* doesn't deserve modders just fix their sh*tty version..
but you know, we love this game and it's so bad watching characters made like that.

We got a totally new engine where we can work better now.

I really want Rockstar to recover from this, I ve been playing rockstar games since gta SA in the ps2, my favourite company by far, and this is pretty sad.

Anyone have any tips on reaching Level 12 for vigilante mission? Currently still in Los Santos. 

Tried a few times and reached Level 11 max.

Had an idea which is using the police bike(can shoot straight) to level 9 if possible then change it to a police car after that because criminals deal more damage as the level goes up. When CJ's health is low around level 9, eat some food to regain health but when I came back out of the shop, the police bike went missing. :(

Will try again 2moro. Seems like a plan that can help me achieve Level 12 but hopefully the bike won't go missing again.

The easiest way is to do it in a tank. So you can either wait until the desert unlocks to steal a tank from Area 69 or you can provoke a 6 star wanted level to a take a tank. Otherwise your best bet is to stock up on MP5 and do it with a police bike. You just have to tough it out. At least these are my methods.

I stick with the police motorcycle for the entire 12 levels. Stock up on plenty of SMG ammo (I aim for about 2500) and then grab the RPG from the roof of the building overlooking Glen Park. This allows to pick off enemies quickly if you can intercept their route and anticipate which road they'll be taking. This is especially helpful on later levels when some of their weapons can really chip away at your health. The time is usually quite generous by the time you've reached level 6 or 7 so be aware of your health and don't be afraid of taking a detour to pick up armor or even a couple of bribe stars if the unwanted police attention is proving to be a distraction. I tend to shoot the cars from the side as they are turning because there's a good chance you'll hit the petrol tank and that's of course an instant detonation. Also, try to start vigilante in the countryside. Not only is traffic less dense making it easier to get about, but you'll have an easier time taking some shortcuts as necessary.

Does the Definitive Edition have the pedestrians dressed like Elvis in Las Venturas? I saw some gameplay videos but for some reason they never seemed to appear so idk if they are missing from the game.

HPV1000 + minigun but you need to go to Las Venturas to find a minigun, one is underground near the top right corner of the highway (police bribe and railtrack nearby) and the other at the bottom right of the same highway, on a scafolding in a construction yard. You may or may not need to pick them up twice to have enough ammo.

 

Regardless of what you use the police bike is always the best early choice.
