This cover dropped during E3 and had so many eyes on it. Rockstar weren't even present at the show.

Sorry if this was already mentioned, but i could not find it anywhere. I noticed this while trying to pre-purchase DE. To me it seems that the version which will be released on november 11 is not the final build of the game. I am hoping they will use DLCs to restore content cut from the original releases, and not include new content which was never intended for OG games.

That disclaimer is in all of their games since GTA V. Won't really apply to the trilogy as it won't be updated with new content like GTAO or RDO so itmay have been a mistake.

There are a lot of roads like this in the original game where they are lit up at night for no reason (there's no street lamps or anything). I wonder how they will be handled in the remaster. The countryside in general is lit very artificially like this. So there's a chance the countryside will be a lot darker in the remaster with real lighting. They obviously had to do it like this on ps2 because the headlights on cars didn't actually emit light

That was due to glitchy vertex lighting I think, which we can already see they got rid of in the remaster. It's all proper lighting now, that kind of stuff shouldn't happen anymore.

I'm hoping the cities will look similar to this during night time. Just can't get enough of SALodLights.

I'm also pretty sure that certain ENB's would also fix the lighting.

In the "remaster" they have fixed the glitch, but the outcome was absolutely horrible (due to the remaster, it might have looked way better in the OG versions on PC, PS2, Xbox). It not only looked like crap in my opinion, it also was way too dark and looked unnatural to me.

 

But I'm absolutely sure this will look way better in the real remaster.

What a perfect time to enjoy playing it while using a og xbox duke controller that i just got yesterday (ofc, also i stil need to get some prebuilt pc with intel core because no way imma be able to run it on this 2007 dual core duo pc without even a gpu, rip)

Just logged on to Game Pass on my Xbox and seeing San Andreas on the home screen being advertised to pre-install was a glorious thing to behold. San Andreas remaster on Game Pass is a huge win. This takes financial pressure off me. I do intend on buying this trilogy but knowing that SA will be there in case I can't is comforting.

Only thing that game pass doesn't allow (on PC anyways) is pre load, i'm gonna get the trilogy regardless.

 

I did however pick the pass up for a quid, so happy days.

Dude there is no AGP version GTX 760 or R9 280 or even Mobo with AMD FX/Intel 2nd generation with AGP slot xD And last GPU for AGP is Radeon HD 4670, so is just disclaimer, nothing more.

Do you think they'll improve car recovery?, if I remember correctly you lost a car if it exploded/drowned/upsidedown. I hated that! The thing I did is garage it and save game so I reload game every time I drove a car I liked/customized.

Man hopefully, I've been replaying the 3d games recently and the cars feel so wierd to control and the fact they explode when their flipped doesn't help.

Really hate that we probably won't get any gameplay until the launch trailer which would probably be posted a day or two before it's release.

Here's hoping! Definitely seems like a logical change though, as the original Look Left/Right button map (L1/R1 or White/Black) is an outdated control scheme, especially from a modern gaming perspective.

Yep that’s correct, they’ve updated the drive-by mechanism but from what I understand just for GTA SA only (was never really such a big feature for VC/III, just a meta kill method on car chases)

Personally, I hope that the SMGs don't sound so awful like they do in the original. That felt like a step back from Vice City.

I'm not sure how publishers work with Microsoft to push games onto the Game Pass but I have a feeling if Rockstar weren't confident about the reception of the trilogy they wouldn't allow people to play it through game pass and force them to join the majority in paying for the game, whether the customer likes it or not it still lines their pockets.

 

Probably just wishful thinking, although I've pre ordered them. I never pre order games, wtf has gotten into me

Could be to drive up sales. There might be people not real interested in the games but will play it for free on game pass and enjoy it enough to want to play 3 and VC and have to buy it. I wasn't planning on buying it because R* has disappointed me so much the last few years but I'll play SA and if I'm not disappointed in it I'll buy it for 3 and VC.

Maybe due to some lighting bug. They might fix it in tde

Most of the roads in GTA SA has this kind of problem. Even some trees without lights in Las Venturas. Didn't really break my immersion that much, until I started playing newer games.

 

Maaan, I wish the next GTA game we get would have Ray Traced lighting. I just don't like it when night time is too bright and I have to reduce the brightness, just to make it properly dark, only to jack it up again during daytime.

Me too. This is one of the things I liked in GTA V. It really captured the night time city vibes with those LOD lights from afar.

Yup, that's the official R* word - 10 AM Eastern on all platforms. Playstations are showing a countdown to midnight but apparently Cyberpunk had the same thing happening then the timer changed to the correct time.
