Max96 Posted October 10, 2021 Share Posted October 10, 2021 Well, I achieved everything I wanted in RDO and wish to start with a new character, but Rockstar still haven't added 2nd slot... So, I have some questions: 1) What do I lose and what do I keep if I delete my character? 2) Can I get Lowry's Revolver again? Someone was saying it's possible only once. On this I´m not sure if you can get it a second time. Getting a new copy if not on console would be my recommendation. You keep your old stuff and and can start fresh at the same time. Rev. Uh, that's sad you lose stuff from Passes, Rockstar should've tied Passes' stuff to account, not to character. I haven't really understood a line 3, What do you mean by keeping old stuff? You may find that you want to play again with them in the future, and anything you unlocked apart from gold and money will not be carried over. That means pass items, limited time items, all gone. On PS4 you can just create new user profiles / accounts on the console level. I have three for RDO. Its not ideal, but until R* wakes up and adds additional character slots its definitely the better move over deleting your account. Hopefully down the road we may even get the ability to have our second character hang out at our camp for seamless switching (of course I don't actually expect we'll ever see that be added). No reason to buy the whole game again, five bucks seems like the best deal there can be right now since there are no 2nd characters and probably will never be Max96 and Rev. I know that cabin, when I just visited I saw a box on the table, sealed, no option to open it up or whatever. question 1: is the revolver in there? edit: yes question 2: how do I open the box? edit: well... edit: oh, I might simply need a picklock for it. turned off gametips and pop-ups so it wouldn't tell me if I needed one. gonna try that later! I'd like to avoid two complete big copies of the game on the drive right. So would I get a second Steam account for the purpose? Or buy direct from $* and launch it outside of Steam? BUT THE BENZ Posted October 13, 2021 Share Posted October 13, 2021 carrying the revolver now! thax to youtube finding the clues and locations was easy, getting 50 kills with it in though was...time-consuming! free aim all the way! poor pedestrians, had to kill a few to stirr sh*t up. fortunately the cops are EVERYWHERE and eager to die in the line of duty, so I dumped most bullets on the pigs. Needing to create an entirely new account just to make a second character absolves them of all fault when nothing carries over which is why they did it and why we will never get another slot on the same account.
