olivier8472
Since its launch players found some great glitches that change or kind of break the game. Most of those are nothing more than cut features that can be activated via some odd methods. You probably all know the Bronte glitch (which was patched in its best version but still effective in a lesser way) which allows Arthur to explore the blackwater area in West Elizabeth and New Austin. You also may know the companion glitch, which allows you to recruit allies from your camp , they follow you as you free roam and act as unkillable bodyguards if you are threatened in any way. This year I discovered the next best thing : the save corruption glitch aka replay glitch , which allows you in some ways, to save Arthur and have a end game experience with Mr Morgan… Here is a video explaining the glitch :

Cutter De Blanc
That save file corruption glitch doesn't seem to unlock New Austin for me, I'm still attacked by Pinkertons in the Great Plains/Tall Trees area it just resets all my stuff and takes me back to chapter 2? Strange since I chose to replay the mission "Red Dead Redemption" from chapter

Strange since I chose to replay the mission "Red Dead Redemption" from chapter 6 The sniper will be deactivated only when you do the glitch but pinkertons will still be here. Also keep in mind that the sniper will be reactivated when you load your save to finish the glitch. So it’s a one time opportunity, with pinkertons waiting in great plains , with minimum stats… My advice is to grab some ginseng elixirs and some other tonics, a fast wagon (better than horse) and attract the strawberry authorities in great plains to prevent pinkertons from spawning. With the proper set up you can also get stuff for Arthur impossible to get in a classic run :

Strange since I chose to replay the mission "Red Dead Redemption" from chapter 6 Being in chapter 2 is essential because the game is reseted so you have to unlock a lot of stuff again and chapter 2 missions unlock legendary animals, fishing among other activities. Once again with the proper set up you can finish all challenges with and get max stats , finish the dinosaur quest , do a epilogue mission with Arthur which is great . Chapter 2 will be your final chapter so everything that unlocks after it won’t, including Arthur illness…
