They should atleast give information on gta 3, a big wasted opportunity to just be like "here gta online, you get 3 t-shirts, nice copy pasted message and 50 cents for logging into the game"

That's tomorrow though, not Friday. The anniversary is Friday and the GTA Online update with the shirts will be tomorrow, as usual.
