I'm talking about the GTA V days, throughout 2012. They would always post Newswire articles on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 2pm on the dot, almost without fail. A specific example was January 2013, when they said they would reveal the box art. Every Tuesday & Thursday that month, we would hope for the box art reveal. It got until the last day of the month, January 31st, which was a Thursday. And sure enough, 2pm on the dot, they posted to the Newswire...

Yes, but they didn't post Newswire articles every single Tue/Thu either, is my point. You even said it yourself in the part I highlighted.  On those days people kept expecting things but nothing happened, much like now.

The trailer will drop when it drops. Trust me, you'll drive yourself mad speculating and hoping for something every day, I did it during the V build-up/release. Now I just see it when they Tweet it and it's a nice surprise.

I swear, most of the community now will have a heart attack when a mainline game like GTA VI is announced, R* announces news in the coming weeks and it'll be 2 months.  Or like RDR2, news in Summer but it was the last day of Summer.
