So what are we thinking about the whole "three iconic cities" part of the description? You would think that would be a dead giveaway that it's not legit but I'm assuming everyone is thinking it's just a mistake on Rockstar's part?

You're overthinking it. It simply means that Los Santos and Las Venturas aren't iconic cities.

probably the guy who wrote that description is some rookie rockstar employe who doesnt know san andreas is a state and not a single city.

Plot twist, all three games will be set in San Andreas, you will have switch-option between Tommy, Claude and CJ, though Tommy is retired at this point and living in San Fierro, and you can only free roam with him, since he`s retired there are no missions for him, he will get booty calls from Mercedes and Candy (that) Suxx  from time to time. 

Claude`s story will pretty much be short one, mostly based around Catalina.

And CJ`s story will be the same, just in HD.

You're overthinking it. It simply means that Rockstar doesn't think that the audience is intelligent enough to realize that the map of San Andreas was a whole state and not a city.

also i don't think there will be a "social" and "store" at the top like in gta4 for example because it's a complete offline game. I remember one time I was trying to play GTA IV through the launcher and the game would refuse to work because Rockstar's servers at the time were getting overloaded because of something GTA Online related

I was unimpressed to say the least.

I had this happen I think it was under the first lockdown March 2020. Would always claim I was disconnected.

 

Found a workaround and never looked back. f*ck DRM.

When these games were originally released, people were more willing to take a joke as opposed to nowadays...

Most likely not. Rockstar is known for being a little offensive. Unless it's something like "those goddamn Haitians!" from Vice City, it should be all gucci.

He's probably refering to people born after 2005, most of these kids only ever played GTA V. I know my cousin born in 2006 is one of them.

That would be great, I'd even take a build of GTA IV that looked exactly the same but ran flawlessly on PC. My dream gaming experience has always been a PC optimized version of GTA IV and over the years and improved hardware and mods it's gotten close to that but not quite. Remastered GTA IV and RDR 1 would be amazing
