It might be an unpopular opinion but I really don't care much about R* removing the original games from the stores. If we have a new and upgraded version then to hell with the old ones, I ain't never going to play them again anyway.

I've always been a sucker for new, "updated" things, not going to lie. I remember playing GTA 4 and thinking GTA SA was unplayable because of all the advancements lol.

It might sound like a conspiracy theory, but I really do think that all these recent Rockstar games are just there for shareholders (GTA E&E and GTA Trilogy DE) until the holy grail arrives. I think T2 are aware anything from Rockstar will sell without much effort. Unfortunately, I can't help myself.

Having said that I'm still looking forward to driving down Ocean beach at night with Unreal 4 Lighting.

I started SA on the pc a couple of times and never managed to finish it because i simply cannot game on the pc.

 

I finished SA 3 times on console though. So for me to play it on the ps5 with updated graphics and controls is s joy like no other!

i was sure of this until E&E flopped so hard - you can tell it's going to bomb and it's not even within a year of release yet. the trilogy remaster seems like their way of winning the core fanbase back - personally, i'd be inclined to forget all about E&E if these turn out good. i'd imagine i'm not alone

It's literally not rocket science to install Re3 & reVC, sigh... just drag and drop the files into the game directory. There, a fixed game...

didn't lego island also suck for the standards of its day? the trilogy was okay for the time but these days they are what i'd consider quite literally unplayable. theoretically you can suffer through the whole thing but it won't be enjoyable
