Who the hell is "they"? Why should I care what they think if it isn't from Rockstar? What are you implying, that "they"'re some sort of super secret inside source from Rockstar that intentionally leaks out unreleased stuff? What's the point of this conversation? There have been talks of GTA remasters since practically the beginning of time, I heard the first rumor from of this specific one when re3/vc got hit the first time way back when.

If it's sh*t I'm not buying it and, I'll move on to other games.

 

If it's good, sure I'll get it on PS4 first and probably PC later on.

the new achievements all look really good honestly, seemingly a lot of stuff for us longer time fans in there. i don't think R* will let us down on this one - their reputation is on the line, and i think they've heard our complaints recently.

Regardless of how this ends up, i liked most of the chatter here last few days when people rushed to get hyped or to comment on the new finds or were simply refreshing thirsty for whatever info and funny posts. Reminds me of happier and simpler times pre-RDR 2/GTA V/GTA IV releases and earlier when a lot of us didn't even have internet for the original classics releases and were using magazines or magazine scans to get the latest news every month.

I just hope this isn't the last time i get this feeling, we really need a new GTA(or RDR?) official announcement. And they (R*/T2) need to do this right to get some positivity back after the modding fiascos.

There's no question weather it'll be running on Unreal. It is RUNNING on Unreal Engine. The Unreal strings in the RGL confirms it, I don't know why that's even debate.

This. I'm sure everyone at R* knows who they're trying to cater to, hardcore and long-time fans, not GTA Online players. They know that if they mess this up, they'll have lost their most loyal fanbase and then some. I doubt they'd go on a suicide mission with this one.

This is honestly one of the main reasons I think these games definitely deserve remasters. Not everyone wants to install a bunch of mods to be able to play the games properly on PC with fixes and things. Although the work of modders is commendable, most players will want a plug and play experience...

Piracy is a service problem, there's absolutely no justification for it with anything Rockstar have done with the trilogy remaster. Using "f*ck you!" as a justification for Rockstar/Take-Two hurts everybody. An increase in piracy hurts the PC industry, it encourages publishers to push for more DRM and always online. It's bad and it's selfish.

 

By pirating a video game, any video game, you aren't saying to the developer/publisher "I'm pirating your game because you suck!" you're saying "I want your game but I'm not willing to pay for it". You're simply part of the crowd that is at fault for making the suits think DRM is the answer. DRM and online always stuff is anti-modding too, by the way.

 

It's also against forum rules to discuss it but ya'know.

I even read in the kotaku article that if the trilogy sells well
they will remastered with red dead redemtion 1
so if you want that on your PCs or next gen consoles
They must earn it by buying the trilogy: v
that's the condition
otherwise
rockstar won't even do it
