And why is the more detailed achievement list a "disappointment"?! Its a nice find!

(Remaster confirmed? No remake?)

Because based on the big foot achievement, some people actually expected they would add in new content to the games.

Today Was a Good Day - Go 24 hours (in game) without breaking the law, being wanted, killing or harming anyone.

pretty boring tbh

just leave the game running without touching controls for 24 minutes

go take a bath, brush teeth, you come back and 1 new achievement

I meant new content.
Swin around the Vice City Island achievement.
Talk to someone achievement in III
Find CJs mother's ghost.

Obviously everyone who is disapointed were expecting new content.

Why is everyone expecting 20 new achievements for each game? Or even worse, why would anyone expect a bunch of hard to do achievements for remasters? :yee:

If you still were expecting new content you weren't paying attention to the information we had tbh. what we learned now from these achievements was just the context for them, it was clear since the day the images leaked that we weren't getting things like bikes/helicopters in III or new content in general.

It's what it says on the tin, aka the R* Newswire, a remaster. It doesn't mean it's crap just because it doesn't have all kinds of new content, and that was never to be expected. Revamped graphics, gameplay, etc is usually what remasters are about too...

I'm not sure what's up with being so negative about the smallest of things.
I understand that some of you are very upset about what Rockstar has done to the modding community and everything else.
But, for real, I get the impression that some of you are just looking for something slightly negative to say:
"See? I warned you. Rockstar is doing a poor job." Either because it massages a sweet spot in your brain that confirms your belief that these re-releases are "going to suck" or something else. I'm not quite sure. In any case...

Is it for the validation? Is it frustration? What is it? I'd really like to understand how this works. It's also weird because at the same time that there's this nitpicking the same people come to this thread, everyday. There is clear interest in the game and the trilogy but then... "Oh, you see those achievements? They suck. I knew it. Rockstar is full of crap and it's going to look like the N64 port."
I'm being hyperbolic but you can see what I mean.

I think it's very unhealthy to live life this way, for real.

People are making up their own definitions of Remaster. Pretty dangerous. You're only setting yourself up for disappointment and then goes to blame Rockstar right after.

Hopefully this week, or whenever, we'll see the pre-order appear together with the official Trilogy trailer and then we can start talking. So do yourself a favor and don't set the bar too high.

It'll be worth it. Once that trailer drops, and you didn't have any expectations and it hits, the feeling will be much more rewarding!

I've saying this for a long time, but a lot of people are seriously addicted to negativity. I'm not talking about this forum specifically (things are okay here), but people really just want to find reasons to get pissed, ignoring/dismissnig all that can/is positive and just focusing on the negativity. Just look at the response at the Remaster rumors (which is a positive thing and was largely dismissed as fake) vs the rumors about the price/it being a mobile port (which is everywhere on twitter/youtube/reddit).

And one more thing. Rockstar hasn't promised us ANYTHING. If you're disappointed because the game doesn't live up to your imagination you've only got yourself to blame (except if they pull some dumb stuff like barely changing stuff for a 60 bucks or whatever)

Why would Rockstar want to spoil additional content in the achievements that will leak anyways? people are digging a bit too deep into nothing. Expect the same game, but how the game runs and looks. will be unexpected. keep your expectation to what the games were back then. but it's not crazy to think we may or may not get better shooting mechanics & what not. just don't expect the world.

I kinda wonder what this achievement really means. Is it just cycle through them once or is it listen to all of them all the way through? Because if it's the former it's the easiest achievement ever, you could get it literally right after the first cutscene.

I think you just need to cycle through each one for 5 seconds and done. There is some easy ones, but I think the achievements is more of a joke than a serious one lol

They can release a RDR3 shorter and smaller than the previous games just because they hadn't promised us ANYTHING? it makes no sense.

This is the outcome of being too much active on the internet.

What you should do in those situations: You expect something, you hype yourself up or whatever, you get disappointed, get busy with other things, move on with the life.

What you should NOT do: You expect something in a NEGATIVE way, you bring that negativity to other people, keep stressing yourself about it, be disappointed about your disappointment, keep this circle of misery.

Don't this to yourself. You have better things to do than keep bringing negativity about a video game.

The tenth image is the Statue of happiness, but the tenth achievement on the list is: "Who Needs Directions? Find Mike Toreno without any of the referenced locations during "Mike Toreno"."
