Not sure what's "disappointing" about these achievements, it's all expected stuff.  Gameplay, mission things, random objectives like maxing out skills... If anyone thought Big Foot was being added 100% then that's on them lol.

I don't see those as disappointments. 40+ achievements for each game is a good size and while some of them could definitely be missed in a playthrough, you can always go back and grab them.

I've played GTA III a long time ago but not much of the missions. This was the first time I decided to play through the story. Gameplay in missions felt surprisingly fun and easy (in most parts), with no long loading times or long distances between missions or targets. Also not many scripted or forced things which I liked. The story and cutscenes were quite simple but of course it's huge jump from GTA 2 and I liked that number of enemies in the missions was pretty low. Somehow felt more realistic and believable that way compared to GTA V for example. Great game overall and better than I remembered.

To be specific compared to the other responses, it's a workflow where you create materials, lighting and the like based on real-world physics and parameters - it contrasts with older workflows where you essentially tried to just fake it with the methods you had. So instead of having to tweak everything to make your map look realistic, you can slap your PBR material down and it just looks right in every scenario. This also means that if you have materials that aren't physically based, if you slap ray traced lighting on it - as they did in the quoted video - that alone doesn't make it look realistic; and because those setups were made with their non-PBR "faked" lighting in mind, it can end up looking worse because you're making a big change from the lighting that they carefully crafted to get a nice look.

thats why i dont remember it, never spent too much time inside casinos, except four dragons when doing woozies missions

The new ones on GTA SA, a lot of those activities you need to do to get 100%, so it's a very good thing to reward players who do all the stuff to get to 100%
