According to Kotaku sources, they look like an heavy modded version.

I think we can exclude they are the same games with 4k resolution and slightly better textures.

 

Moreover, the word "remaster" could mean everything.

Several developers say that "remaster" sells more than "remake". That's the reason why Crash Bandicoot trilogy has been sold as "remaster plus" and not remake as well as Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered (new AI, new graphics, lots of improvements...But it's officially a remaster).

 

So, Rockstar may want to promote GTA Trilogy as a remaster even if they come up with a remake (new engine, new contents and improved gameplay).

I've never seen a pack of all vehicle models being redone. It's always a handful that get left out for some reason (time and effort requirement probably) so you'd have to look up some other replacement mods that may or may not match the rest of the cars.

 

And this is why Rockstar's best suited to do this, they have the time, money and manpower to work on everything. I guess they're technically modders.

I don't think it's specific interest in the mobile version so much as people here trying to explain that phones have improved a huge amount in the last decade. Of course it doesn't matter, because people are going to say the same things every few pages in this thread until rockstar releases some screenshots or a trailer.

Worse case scenario we get a gameplay trailer on the 22nd, and absolutely no screenshots before then. I feel this is a very agreeable worse case scenario with everyone here.

Yep, this. It's not even about interest I'd say, it's the fearmongering over the existence of a mobile release handicapping the others. This doesn't really happen anymore in 2021, especially not in an engine like Unreal. These will still be older games at heart even with graphics/gameplay improvements, we're not talking about putting RDR2 on a phone FFS lmao.

I’m sure that the first GTA they ever played was V but I usually stick with GTASeriesVideos as you mentioned or other ones who don’t put out bullsh*t every now and then but that’s just me though.
