Vice City's story is actually of Rockstar's worse work of the main Rockstar games (not including advance or spinoffs) from VC onwards. RDRevolver-RDR 2, Bully, Max Payne 1-3, Manhunt 1/2, Warriors, GTA SA/IV/EFLC/GTA CTW/V, etc were all better.

 

REALLY unpopular opinon is GTA III/VC/LCS story really isn't THAT much better than SRTT. If SRIV was like a 4/10, SRTT was like a 5/10 in story, GTA III was like a 5.5, GTA LCS was like a 5.75, and VC is like a 6.75

Facts, I always remember myself playing Vice City and eventually stopping because I found San Andreas more interesting, however Vice City Stories was absolutely amazing, and it's such a shame it won't receive even a decent port to anything

My unpopular opinion is that I think GTA 3 *barely* has a story and aside from the fact that it was groundbreaking at the time I don't know why it's remembered with such fondness. (I did play the game)

(Just joking, but for me GTA III story is very interesting, focusing on being a criminal and claude is cold as ice, he works for money, the atmosphere is Unique, and being the first 3d era GTA has a significance of is own, the story might felt short, but there is a Lot of stuff to do, including taxi missions, paramédic, vigilante, Hidden packages, rampages, rc missions, Phone missions and more)

Funny enough if GTA III was released 1 year later, the game would hardly be groundbreaking, it just did it a bit earlier than it's competition and R* themselves said they knew that had to get the game release before the sequel to Driver 2 came out in which funny enough Driver 3 was delayed BECAUSE of GTA III and VC releasing so those two were in direct competition.

GTA III - Main Character gets betrayed and seek revenge

 

GTA VC - Main Character seek power, gets betrayed and gets revenge

 

GTA SA - Main Character seek to help his homies, gets betrayed and gets revenge

 

GTA IV - Main Character got betrayed and seek revenge, also wants to start a new life

 

GTA V - One of the main characters betrayed another main character, end up having to work together for powerful people, powerful people betrays them, they set aside their differences and seek revenge towards powerful people

It's possible. Anyway, showing the three gameplay trailers on one day would mean they don't need/want to focus on a specific title of this trilogy (no reason to do that, unless it's a low/standard quality remaster).

My personal belief is that they made a good quality remaster (new contents, heavy graphic updates, enhanced gameplay...) and they want people talk and focus on each single GTA in next weeks.

This could be the schedule:

 

11-17th October: 1st reveal trailer

18-24th October: 2nd reveal trailer

25-31th October: 3rd reveal trailer

 

1-7th November: launch trailer

 

11th November: release date

 

I expect GTA San Andreas to be the first. It's the most waited one and it will give a clue about the overall work (if we'll be disappointed by GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition, no chances they did a better job with Vice City and GTA3).

TLOU in a nutshell. Main character loses daughter, accepts new daughter, kills EVERYONE  for her

TLOU2: Both main characters loses few people, teenage confusion kicks in (estrogen for Ellie, testosterone for Abby), gets revenge, kills EVERYONE
