Something we should all take hope from is something that I think @Spider-Vice said a few pages back. I hadn't considered it, but in the past, Rockstar farmed out the ports of the various iterations of Trilogy games to smaller dev houses. I'm sure they had very limited powers given to them by Rockstar for what code they could change and what content they could even consider adding. I think that the fact that Rockstar is doing this themselves AND they are hyping this with serious propaganda campaigns, compared to the almost zero fanfare of the various Trilogy releases to mobile platforms and "Windows Apps" should hopefully be a signal that this is a serious undertaking. Not some half-assed regurgitation for $5 bucks USD. I think that there is definitely a credibility risk here for Rockstar and Take2.

Just had a thought - I think more than anything what I want out of the DE is proper facial expressions and animations from the characters. It used to destroy the immersion in cut scenes when they spoke. As a bonus they should fix things like in GTA SA when you smoke it looks so weird. Just proper animations ideally.

Well it would be nice to add some stuff to VC's beach but I hardly even remember doing much with it anyway so, I doubt they'll do anything to "enhance" it. Plus big beach, more time to drive and kill fat peds blasting Hall and Oates at night lmao

- The game has been in the works for 2 years

- The game is running on Unreal Engine 4

Btw they didnt say that the original trilogy will be removed on october 11, they said as of the week of october 11.

It would be nice (but probably unlikely) if they added Beach Patrol missions like in Vice City Stories, to Vice City. Would be some use of the beach at least. 

 

As an aside 'Life's a Beach' is a top mission name

 

Swimming in Vice City and climbing ladders in San Andreas, think they'll have it?

Instead, if they plan to reveal a single GTA title every week, I expect they have good reasons to do it.

It doesn't make sense focus on each single GTA if there aren't important graphics and gameplay improvements.

 

This makes me wonder now if they make 3 seperated videos on one day showcasing all the changes for each game.

Windows 10 and 11 contains sh*t ton of telemetry and Windows defender (interferes with games), why not consider

MX Linux, Pop OS or any Arch Based distro such as Endeavour os?

I am on Windows 7 for now but will jump to Linux once I get new optical drive for my pc

or install on a new pc.
