Is there a way to manually sync GTA V with Rockstar Social Club?

As title implies, I've been having trouble lately getting my achievements on the Social Club's GTA V Story Checklist section recognized. Some days I'll get really lucky and I can reliably window-key out of the game, refresh the browser, and see my new activities reflected there, but other times like recently it'll go entire days without registering anything new. Is this a bug, or are the servers sometimes just really slow?

 

And is there a way to MANUALLY tell the game to communicate with the Social Club server? Or is it just a matter of having to wait until it finally comes around?
