I have the solution its sort of cheating but the only way to finish this bugged up wretched mission. go to you gta vc directory and then open up a folder called data. Then open up handling.cfg. Look for SABRETUR now scroll right and goto 180.0 change that to 50.0. Now look for 32.0 change that to 02.0 SAVE and start up vice and keep at the same speed as hilary until the cops start coming after you. I found it rather entertaining and a bit challenging too And why screw up the mission by making his car slower? It's more satusfying to complete it the way it was ment to. On some sytems there is a bug where stupid hilary (glad he dies) decides to dissapear into the bridge and ^THIS^ fixes it. However for those of you talking about how people need to try harder, the mission is impossible to pass because of a BUG causing Hillary to DIE, it has nothing to do with skill, practice, or perserverence, so shutup. He DOES drive into the bridge near the road to starfish island if you are right behind him. If you are further back or in front it doesn't seem to happen. If he drives through the bridge it takes some time before he dies so if you are close behind him i think you can finish it as you are close to the end, but i haven't done that so i'm not sure. You can get out right at the start but thats really hard and you have a very little amount of time so you catch him, run him into something, get out and shoot at his tires, then get back in and finish the race. It took me like twenty some times just to complete it and when I played it again just a few days ago, it took me five tried. You gotta hit the back of his car to make him spin out!
