I need help with Website Creation and some advices.

Hi everyone.

 

I am creating a gaming website. The platform I use is Wix. So far I've managed to create layout, structure, design and all. But I can't make a registration and login form.

 

The default Wix's register login system is very poor, I want to create like a members area, profile system and a custom registration system which has security checks like email conformation and all. Basically a registration and login system like in professional websites.

 

I have watched some tutorials but they don't cover every little detail. If you know how to create a custom registration and members login section, or if any websites or videos that demonstrate how to create those, then please help me and let me know about those.

Hmm, w3schools has users there that would know more about php/mysql. Sure they suggest never to use a video tutorial, they are very poor.

So can I get information on creating registration form from there?

Possibly, if you join the forum, but the reality is, it is a long road to do this, if you aren't good with it.

 

I tried a book from 'In Easy steps', but it is very old dated code, it lets you register an account, and post a comment, but that is it. It is useless. It is similar to the rubbish available on youtube.

But, I still don't see any Email verification and Bot Check systems in that signup form. And also instead of a registration page, can I have a registration LightBox?

I checked and there is no such thing as email conformation instead the user gets straight registered!

 

Also Maybe I don't want that custom Registration page, What if I can create a registration form from scratch. Is it possible?

 

Lastly, there are many cons of these wix custom registration form. Here are some of them.

 

1. What if someone tries to register with the same email again?

2. What if someone tries to register with some invalid garbage kind of name like kahskdhakshde.. Bla bla.

3. What if I want to have password containing one uppercase one symbol and a number like to successfully register?

 

And apart from that any other kind of security systems that should implemented for a valid registration process.
