[Help] Where is the shark database? GTA SA

Hello, I use a translator.

I'm wanting to modify the spawn of marine animals (jellyfish, fish, dolphin, shark, etc) but I don't know where the database is in the game files.

Perhaps its a disable ID... I believe that if someone could re-able that ID maybe the shark could appear more often in San Fierro sea

Try to find vice city file id may work.

Well, i found this ID on vice city's generic.ide. "536, shark, shark, 1, 50, 128", But need to be sure if that ID is already used by another object

 

Edit: Well, i tryed changing an "unused" ID: 999, and it kinda worked... the only issue is that i couldnt make the shark spawn, at least in san fierro sea (since is the only place that it spawns i know). I need to know where are the spawning files so i can figure out how to make it spawn naturally.

no need of an "unused" ID: 999

 

shark is available and can be spawned by script or ipl

1608, shark, shark, 40, 128

but the hardcoded sealife feature doesn't show it

 

you can make shark appear instead dolphin

just change these lines inside multiobj.ide

1607, dolphin, dolphin, 40, 128
1608, shark, shark, 40, 128

to these

1607, shark, shark, 40, 128
1608, dolphin, dolphin, 40, 128

My idea was to edit the spawning of the shark just like the dolphin by changing the ID, but it didnt work

Is a easy way to make sharks appear more, but i kinda want the shark appear without replacing the dolphin or the turtle, maybe creating a cleo file...

hardcoded sealife feature means: jellyfishes hanginging around, fishes, dolphin and turtle spawn randomly and move around, when player is swiming in water

hardcoded means: it's done by code inside gta_sa.exe, not main.scm, not ipl, not paths like peds and vehicles in traffic

or another method: starfishes, seaweed and stones on seabed or bushes at landscapes spawn randomly, also hardcoded, but depending to collisions model material and procobj.dat

but the sealife only needs player swiming in water

 

i was wrong, as i said "gta_sa.exe lets objects of multiobj.ide with following id number appear"

it needs to rename shark.dff/txd to dolphin.dff/txd

yes, of course, that's no problem

Yesterday i tested that mod, looks pretty good.. The only thing i didnt like is that the sharks always attacks you. Maybe i'll try edit something to test the shark

 

 

Edit: I've been looking around on internet, and its very interesting that mostly in MTA and in SA-MP the shark not only spawns, is also modified. I found a MTA "mod" about the shark, obviously is not going to work on original GTA San Andreas but wanted to inform..
