So besides the guy from doomsday which isn't even a confirm death. No one really dies unlike story mode.

Either they get defeated or just runaway to fight another day.

(Caio heist)

Like i want to finsh off a enemy show me ending their life to make sure they are dead.

I guess they can't because of replaying missions.

I could be wrong but things I noticed.

That Dugan guy dies in the casino missions. That Popov guy from prison break. Avon dies.

But yeah the online player is supposed to be morally ambiguous, so they rarely do anything meaningful or memorable in cutscenes. Some people here like Martin or Simeon, I want to watch them writhe on fire until only their bones are what's left.

Well, we could get into the debate that all human life is eternal, because it was created that way for a reason, and that your time here is simply your audition, to see where you will spend your real life, and that most of your abilities and powers are largely cut-off from you while you are here.

Which is why some of us are stronger than others. Some can run faster, others have exceptional intelligence etc. Just little scraps we get that show what we are ALL like when we reach the real world, not this one.

But let's just say "yeah, it sucks ."

I console myself every time I spawn back in Story Mode on Michael's tennis court with that walking STD thing he married, by grenade launching her around the court. They should make a cocktail in it's honour - The Burning Amanda.

And then she ruins it by texting ME the hospital bill. Puts on best Comic Book Store Guy voice and says - "Worst, quote, unquote, death ever!"

Cope. Trevor is looking for deludamol van stash to bring it to his mom. Now i can't promise anything, but if you're nice and drive it back where you found it he won't be mad, not that much to stomp your head like lil johnny.

"Gamers don't die, they respawn"

Same goes for our enemies.

Spoiler

Unlike in RL, in Vidya, it never ends. To quote one of my favorite games. It's an "infinite" loop of "Constants and variables"

Rule of thumb for all media, unless you physically see the body they are not dead.

I wish every protagonist and antogonist had a Popov ending. You put bullets in him and see his body.

From a storyline perspective, except for Cayo & the Casino, we only do each mission once. Replays technically don't actually happen in the context of our own personal storyline.

Works the same way in Story Mode - sure, you can replay missions for medals, but the outcome won't affect your story. For example, let's say you do the UD heist first time around and come away with 20 mil per protagonist. If you Replay the heist, pick different options & come away with 30 mil, when you go back to Story you'll still just have the 20 mil from your 'real' outcome.

So, anyone you kill in Online does, in fact, stay dead. Except players, of course, but again, from the perspective of our own personal storyline (ie mission/heist progression), we're the protagonist - there isn't really millions of psychotic supervillains running around LS, there's just us and the small crew we do jobs with.

It's cause they are saving them, they will all pop back up in a dlc were they steal all are money and we have kill them one by one to get some of the money back.

The very last peep will be on a base on the moon and we have to buy a space station to go after him for last bit of our money back lol.

GTAO is like The F&F movies, the dlcs are going to be more over the top and stupid. So I would not rule out something in space lol....

It's sad to think they would go that far but who would have guessed that we would have flying dick mobiles and cars in the game now.

I really don't even care about the GTA O story, it's non-canon to me and it's just for the sh*ts.

Solid Scorpion

Obligatory

"Mendoza's been hit! Mendoza's been f'ing hit!"

Every enemy in LS knows a Mendoza.

This especially for that chef on the merryweather sub. I make damn sure Mr Stabby stabby stays down.

I do think its safe to say Avon is dead. He got blown up by missiles thousands of feet in the air. Even if by small chance he survived the explosion, gravity would finish it however it was hinted that Clifford (his evil AI) might return. Avon's clones that were controlled by Clifford are still active. You see this if you do the Silent and Sneaky approach for the Diamond Casino heist and go after the laser drills.

Why would you want to kill El Rubio though? He is a moron who always restocks his shelves with goodies to steal, he is a golden goose. A smart person would let him live. No El Rubio, no more goodies to steal.

Because the Payoff always in gta is putting a bullet in someone head.

Not always, other times its the score. Rubio is an idiot who keeps stocking his shelves with goodies no matter how many times he is robbed.

There are some baddies where killing is the reward, there have been many throughout the many installments of Gta but to me El Rubio is not one of them.

Besides its more fun to drive him insane robbing him again and again than killing him would which would release him from his torment.

Admittedly though I have a soft spot for him though cause he is voiced by the same guy who voiced Tony Montana in the game "Scarface The World is Yours". There is little easter eggs that hint towards this fact. Like the fact that Rubio also likes to keep a wild cat like Tony Montana does.
