billiejoearmstrong8
GTA IV is fabulous and HD era also gave us other amazing games from Rockstar like RDR, RDR2 and LA Noire. And IV and RDR had the best DLCs ever. It's a GTA V, or to be more specific a GTA Online problem you're talking about. Don't forget we also got Max Payne 3, CTW (Which seems to be the most forgotten HD era GTA ever) and Midnight Club: Los Angeles. Believe it or not during 2008-2012 R* were still making great games from their other I.Ps on top of GTA and Red Dead. In saying that the last couple of years have been somewhat concerning regarding where R*'s head space is at. They don't strike me as the counter culture kings they once were and weren't afraid of taking risks. Now it feels like they've become a bit too complacent (hence why they're milking GTA V and GTAO to death). But yeah. It's kind of unfair to tar the entire HD era with the same brush when it only really applies to two of the aforementioned games. Jimmy Cast
To be honest I think eras have been thrown out now. We had the 3D era and we thought we had the HD era but then UHD came along and they're still releasing GTA V.

Americana
Damn, if it wasn't for HD Grand Theft Auto games, or rather Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes From Liberty City, I'd forget about this franchise a long time ago. It's not an overall HD era thing. Algonquin Assassin, H-G, ThatBenGuy1998 and 3 others 4
ThatBenGuy1998
As usual, I agree with MiamiViceCity1986 and billiejoearmstrong8. The HD era of R* has some great games from 2008-2012 such as GTA IV/EFLC, CTW, Midnight Club: Los Angeles, RDR, LA Noire, and Max Payne 3. They kinda went off the deep end since 2013 though with the mere exception of RDR2. However, much like Metallica, R* has drifted from their roots and become too complacent in recent years. Actually you named the thread “HD Universe’s real name”. Not “HD era of GTA’s real name”. Don’t blame me for your incompetence and don’t attack my ability to read when I’m probably far more educated and have a better grasp of the English language than you lol. So anyway let’s ignore the other R* games for a moment. You’re still wrong and you’re still describing GTA V/GTAO and not the HD era as a whole. And I’m just going to leave this here as I’m sure this is how most people feel when they read the tripe you usually post.
