ILIAS
!! PLEASE !! I have a steering wheel (Thurstmaster Force Feedback GT) but GTA doesn't support it. Maybe no Steering wheels are supported. Can anyone make a patch, a mod, or something to make the game supports steering wheel? The left/right works (BUT NOT GOOD) The trottle/brake doesn't work at all. (BUT WHEN I AM ON FOOT IT WORKS FINE )

JoeyLeone25
Can I ask why you'd want to use a stering wheel? & I doubt somebody will make a patch/mod for it Anomalous Material.com <--> AMF Multiplayer Topic Join Quidco and get Cashback for buying things online! ILIAS
When you drive with a steering wheel you can run faster without crashing, because you can turn smoother and you can make correction to your way without loosing the straigitway. With keyboard, when you tap the left or right key, you cannot turn so little as you need.
sambowie
I've a MS-Precision2-Joystick, which I use with Heli's in GTA-VC. Have a wheel too, but GTA is meant to be driven by keys or pad. Get a program called JoystickCursorTool from http://www.deinmeister.de/jct_e.htm and program any GTA-keys to your wheel or joystick. It's really fun to control the heli's with joystick. And the steering is analog on X and Y axis.
ILIAS
I would like to ask you something. With this program Can I press the throttle a little to go slowly without I have to press and release the throttle to keep my speed unchanged? Can I turn my steering wheel a little to turn an open turn? Answer me please
sambowie
Nope, the Y-axis seems to be digital (on/off) in GTA-VC. The X-axis is analog. You can only change this by ask R* for an update.
krajikarikter
I have the non usb sidewinder force feedback wheel. Can anybody help me make it work with Vice City. As soon as I start I start to run backwards.
ILIAS
This game does not support seperate axis for accelerator and brake. Use combined mode.
Vicetopia
Isn't it tedious having to constantly switch between a steering wheel and your keyboard? It's bad enough having to switch between Keyboard and Mouse.
ILIAS
I can handle ALL of them: Keyboard, Mouse, Steering wheel. simultaneously
